Yes. They should be confident & proud of showing their body.
No. Modesty is best, no matter how good someone's body looks.

I think the keyword in this question is “should,” and it prompts a sort of mixed response from me.
Like others have said, it’s important to be confident in one’s body. No one, whether fit or not, should be ashamed of their body to the point where they feel they always have to overly cover up. For instance, I knew a guy back in junior high who’d always wear a sweatshirt, even on hot days (in Texas no-less). At the time, I thought it was odd, but looking back, I can imagine he was going through some possible self-esteem issues. He was the biggest guy in the class. If he was going through issues that created that behavior, it’s sad that he felt that way and likely dealt with feeling unnecessarily uncomfortable. No one should feel the need to have to hide themselves.
But the issue I have with saying ‘should’ is that it comes off as sort of... I don't know, petty? Shallow? Maybe it’s a different connotation than what I’m imagining— I don’t know, but it reminds me of ‘that one guy in high school who’d carry the guitar everywhere he went, so everyone knew he could play guitar.’ I mean, yeah, I think playing a guitar is cool. I play guitar myself. I enjoy music, but is it important to overtly let everyone know “I play guitar?” No, certainly not.
Thus, my viewpoint is to be proud of gains, but don’t feel like one *has* to show off the body through some revealing clothing. Hell, maybe I’m just a prude— who knows, but overly revealing clothes when the situation doesn’t call for it reminds me of ‘that guitar guy’ as referenced earlier, and it makes me have a more negative opinion of a person. I think there is a middle ground between bundled/hidden and goods-on-display, and I believe that middle ground is a good place to be for the majority of situations. If that middle ground is called ‘modesty’ in today’s society, I’m all for it. (Really though: what is the definition of modesty today anyways?)
If there is the time/place for it, show off how you’d like! (I. e. beach, gym, formal attire for event, etc.) One just must realize there are many times/places not for it.
I can confirm that sweatshirt part. I used to always wear as big sweatshirts as possible to not feel so fat. It's very uncomfortable feeling when you feel the t-shirt squeezing and highlighting your fat parts. But also when I lost a lot of weight and got in shape I noticed the urge to show off. I started wearing very tight t-shirts so everyone would see I'm in shape. Now I'm older and back to fat and I don't care either way anymore.
And yeah I can also confirm that guitar part. I have a friend who always posts pictures posing with his guitar even though he's not very good or passionate player. But hey it looks cool!
Yes. They should be confident & proud of showing their body.
But I will say it like this. Wear the things that you have been wanting wear.
Modesty is a tool that you control. I think feeling good with your body is a very good thing. But attention to what you are wearing plays a factor. I'll say it this way, just be careful what you wear in certain places. While jogging wear something modest, at fitness centers feel more free to wear whatever. While walking at night consider bringing a light trench coat. It's all about being safe. Attention is meant for those you want attention from not those you don't
I think yes if they have a good in shape fit body of course u should show it of because it will show people that ur confident and I think u would have a lot of people looking at u in a good way thinking oh this someone is so confident and some people may want to look like U because they see that u care for ur body and that ur confident enough to show it of but i think even if u dont have a good shape or fit body u can still show it of because whats important is u having self confidence and not caring what othe people think
Define/elaborate what you mean by "show it off"? If that person worked hard to get to their body goals and are happy in the skin they're in, sure thing, go ahead and wear that outfit you've been dying to wear to feel good about yourself. But with that said, keep in mind the way you dress depending on where you are and whom you're with, as dressing flashy can draw unwanted attention.

Im inverted triangle, athletic lean body but I SAY NOO! Id get if you're trying to tan or swim and not get that risitance from water but if you just take of your shirt or what ever just to show your body then i say NO and FUCK YOU. Honestly though If some just shows of their body just to show of i actually make fun of them and roast them because its unnecessary, no one cares you're fit and some people might not want to see someone with their shirts of just showing everyone. So for me personally although i do have a fit body im not those people to show of for no reason if my shirt is of its for a reason either going swimming or trying to tan but doing it just to do it its like umm why its just stupid. Oh and just because someone dosent show of their body dont make them insecure just saying nor is someone confident for showing it of. Its just a choice
if someone puts in the work. to maintain a body they can be proud of. when they look in the mirror. then sure they can show it off a bit. however they should not be shocked. if others glace or stare at them while their out in public.
but modest and comfortable can also be viewed. as attractive or sexy in there own way. form flattering clothes can look good also. showing a bunch of skin is not the only answer.
sure, why not? if you have a fit body, you put lot's of work in. that's your achievement. be proud of it. that's totally cool.
but like that girls that naturally have big tits... i mean... yeah sure. you can flaunt what you have but you didn't do anything for it, so don't let it get to your head.
there's a certain amount of humility that should be involved.
People who are modest and knoe thy have a great body and choose to dress appropriately says a lot. I admire that.
If they are thst good looking than anyone will be able to tell they have a good body and leaves the imagination running wild. However, there are also appropriate times when showing off their body is accepted. Like going to the beach.
If you work hard for years to buy a ferrari and you get it, do you keep it in the garage?
Its ok to show off with good fitting clothes and stuff but no like walking naked 😅 its unatteactive. I have a good body i workout years but i dont go around naked flexing.. i know what kind of body i have. No need to flex around and show off.. even with clothes on you can see it. Show it off with good outfits yes. But dont be cocky about it because its unattractive
We shouldn't be taught to be ASHAMED of our bodies, that's downright terrible yet instilled in us from birth. Shame is not something I like. It doesn't feel good. Its negativity. Also, if you have a nice car you don't hide it, you drive it, cruise it, spend an hour parked at the car wash or front lawn polishing it! If you look good don't hide, that's why it's called "looking good" I'm all for showing off, just my opinion.
Showing off your body doesn’t have to do with how fit or unfit your body is, but with your desire to show it off. Are you fit and want to show off your toned muscles? Go ahead, wonderful. Are you fit but not comfortable with showing what you got? Perfect, you do you. Are you unfit but feeling sexy and wanting to flaunt it? Do it, confidence is beautiful! Are you unfit and prefer to not show your body for any reason whatsoever? Good, as long as you accept and love your body.
They got enough guys wanting to show you their dick. Don't we have enough narcissists without every woman wanting to display her wares too? Is it any wonder why there are so many horny people when they see women walking around braless and wearing short shorts or a short skirt up to their ying yang.
I see the down voter must be one of those always talking about his dick.
It’s normal to want to show off your body once in a while but if you notice someone constantly wearing provocative clothing for others people’s reactions or if they are constantly overly concerned about how they look, it is a big RED FLAG
I think they should do whatever the hell they want as long as they understand that some people react to the same things very differently.
They can show off their body of they want to, but like they aren't obligated to just cuz they have a nice body
As long as theyre 18 and older, feel free. But they should keep in mind that its best to leave a little mystery and save the goodstuff for their significant other
Yea sumn i’ll never understand. Only dogs hump legs. I don't know what guys see in em
I voted this way because if a woman has a good toned body and she shows it off , then she can end up in big trouble with the men who see it too ! thanks
They should show it off if they want to and cover up if they want to. Being in shape doesn’t mean they should dress a certain way whether they like it or not.
Yes of course. We all should have something to work for. Imagine working for a ferrari, are you just going to leave it hidden in the garage? Nope, thats going to be driven around and shown off. But a true humble person wouldn't show off coz he knows what he went through to get it. Where as if someone was silver spooned would.
I think modesty is always the best way to go.. Should they show it off? I wouldn't say should.. Is it understandable that they would? Yeah.. I mean it's part of human nature..
Only if they want to. Even if they are not in the best shape, they should wear the clothes they enjoy. More modest than revealing, but completely hiding someones body if its not in perfect shape is just silly.
That depends of each person personality. Some are extroverts, some introverts. If you are extrovert don't play the introvert, and the other way around. Introversion shouldn't be confused with shyness. Shyness is not a personality traits, it's an insecurity.
If someone’s confident in their Body and they want to show it off they can absolutely show it off
I used to be immodest, but I'm less naive about those things now.
It's best to be more modest.
(They can still tell if you're in good shape.)
right now, definitely not. if laws cannot be enforced, don't advertise things for sale... get my drift...
They should feel free to show as much or as little of their body as they like. Nude to turtlenecks, and anything inbetweeen.
Yeah of course! If they have it they should flaunt it.
"Should" is quite a strong word. I don't see a reason why you wouldn't though. You worked hard for it, everyone likes people they have a sexual preference for being attractive and especially not it's summer there's not really a need to cover it up.
*now it's summer, my apologies
At the right times, being confident and proud is one thing but being conceited is another. No one likes to feel bad about themselves. Would you show off your intelligence? Probably not, but at the right times yes
@lanadelrey25 while ur beautiful enough show it off
They can certainly show off their body without being immodest.
If they are comfortable with the attention they will receive for doing so.
If they want, then sure. But if they don't, then no.
If they are comfortable doing so & have the desire to sure. If not, no.
The girl in picture distinctly doesn't have a fit body. She looks malnourished.
Yes because they worked hard and had discipline to earn that body.
It's their body, they can do whatever they want to do with it
I think if that's what they want to do, more power to them.
However, it can draw the type of attention some people don't want, and they should be aware of that.
If someone has a "body", they should be proud of showing it off. Whether it meets other people's standards of acceptability or not. Issa body. Who gives a shit?
Modesty is always crucial
Doesn't matter how beautiful someone's body is
Decency is a priority
That's half the fun of having it. Is teasing a treat and turning on the other gender at the beach or shirtless on a run at the park. Quite thrilling too.
Tbh if it makes them feel more confident, then yea! But if they are really cocky about it and rub it in everyones faces, then maybe they should stop
Why not, if that person wants it and not up everyones face with it. Go for it.
Everyone who's confident about their body should be able to show it off.
Its upto them really. If they want to by all means do it, if they don't still fine.
Yes, you should be proud of yourself no matter what
Yes, it's fine but one should dress with respect for their body
It boils down to a simple ethical question. Which option will most increase the sum total of human happiness? So if you've got it, flaunt it!
They should show it off if they want to and cover up if they want to. Being in shape doesn't mean they should dress a certain way whether they like it or not.
It's not that they should do it, but if they want to, then I'm not going to hold it against them.
Their body, their choice. I don't share my photos when am at the gym or on the beach. I work out for me and me only, i don't show off. It's my choice.
If they want to, yeah. Being confident and proud of your body and being modest are not mutually exclusive traits though.
I guess it depends on the place. The beach? Sure. Church? Prob not.
I don't think "should" is the right word for that, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with people showing they are fit, good looking etc.
If someone loves their body, sure let yourself express that, confidence in oneself is always attractive after all
Well depends on the norm around where u live.. culture around u... its not always about "idc what they think"... its about showing respect to ur community.
Sure, that's half the fun. Show off in a tasteful way! Don't go completely skimpy, look your best ;)
tbh showing off or not is their choice and their decision and none of us should have a problem with what people wanna do with their own body.
I know i will be once im back in the body i love. 😂
Everyone should show off their body if they feel so inclined, being conventionally attractive isn't the deciding factor of which people should feel okay showing off the goods
I think yes, if they want to, but not to indecent extents.
"Should"? No.
"Are likely to"? Quite.
Do you always and fuck everything that some hater is spewing out. Haters are going to hate. That's their job.
If I looked like her I'd be dressed like that all the time
If they want. And if they're unfit /out of shape they should if they want too. People should just do what they want.
