The fourth woman is a bit TOO modest for me. And the way she's hiding her face is creepy, in my opinion. No offense, though.

@007kingifrit Again, such a baseless claim it’s laughable. But then again I don’t blame you for your bias against Islam when your sources for learning about it consist of either Fox News or CNN.

Secondly women covering their hair, is not exclusive to Islam- Orthodox Jewish women wear hair coverings, some Christian women wear hair coverings, I even know of non-religious women covering their hair just because they prefer modesty.

Well done at displaying your absolute ignorance to this matter.

@SpiderManFan2002 honey, islam says its moral to rape non muslims in order to shame them into joining the religion. you are too young and idealistic to know anything about the world

being tolerant makes the world a worse place. it creates too many sub groups for us to maintain a democracy. nobody will get what they want, everyone will be unsatisfied, everyone will break away into smaller countries. diversity is a bad thing, intolerance is moral

@007kingifrit And now you display your lack of knowledge on Islam to me. Unlike you, I didn’t learn about Islam from unqualified people with an evident bias agenda. I learned about Islam from those who have dedicated years and years of their lives to studying the religion from the holy texts, to Classical Arabic. Your claims are claims I’ve heard a million times before, it’s as if you’ve all been to this brainwashing camp against Islam, I honestly pity you and people with your mentality it’s so sad to see the hatred that has consumed your hearts, ignorance is clearly a pandemic that’s been going on wayy longer than COVID, clearly.

@SpiderManFan2002 honey... what if you didn't learn from evidence? because i can quote the quran right now

Quran (2:282) - Establishes that a woman's testimony is worth only half that of a man's in court - or less, given that one male witness is preferable to two female (there is no "he said/she said" gridlock in Islam).

The seizure of Infidel girls and their use as sex slaves is sanctioned in the Qur’an. According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general. The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must (eventually) win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, for (in their case) they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

your "education" only tells you positive things. not truth

Oh my gosh you actually think you’re teaching me something- do you not think I’ve heard these claims a thousand times before and investigated them for myself?

So let’s go through each and every verse you have cited, proving to me you have absolutely no understanding of context, history, or the Classical Arabic language.

Quran 2:282 - Is not referring to testimony in a court. Islamically, there is a difference between testimony in a court and witnesses. The verse is referring to business contracts, not legal testimony because 1400-1500 years ago it was uncommon for women to partake in business activities, consequently, not every woman had the expertise to witness a debt contract. Sometimes the primary witness wouldn’t be able to recall contract details because of external factors for her, such as, pregnancy or giving birth- hence, the verse merely suggests that she has another woman to remind her of the details. Some Islamic scholars say that one woman is sufficient enough to be a witness as long as she is deemed reliable. As for testimony, well the highest form of testimony in Islam is narrating Hadiths, which as long as the narrator is reliable they will be accepted regardless of their gender. If a husband accuses his wife of adultery, both most testify that they are telling the truth 5 times (if they have no witnesses) and according to Quran 24:6-10 their testimonies are seen as equal. Then there’s certain instances where a woman’s testimony is only accepted and a man’s testimony is rejected such as testifying a woman’s pregnancy or virginity.

Quran 4:3 - So the verse mentions a ‘bondwoman’ which is a female slave who was owned through purchase or by getting taken captive in war- a practice not exclusive to Islam, but it’s not the same type of slavery as say the Atlantic slave trade, given by Islam slaves are not dehumanized. It is a major sin to kill a slave, and a major reward (from God) to free a slave. Islam made it an act of charity to free slaves. The slave master also had to feed and clothe their slave the same way they would for themselves. It was also unlawful to kill or to injure slaves. It was also unlawful to give them an overwhelming amount of work unless the slave master assisted them in that work. By Islam it was unlawful to separate a slave mother from her child, children who were born to a slave master were not enslaved and if the slave master died, the slave woman became free. I mean slaves themselves had many rights by Islam, but that’s a whole other discussion.

Quran 4:24 - “Also ˹forbidden are˺ married women—except ˹female˺ captives in your possession.” - A man was not allowed to have a relationship with a bondwoman unless it was certain she was not pregnant and this was verified by her having at least one period.

33:50 - Well my response for 4:3 pretty much applies here too.

Now let’s look at Quran 23:1-6.

“Successful indeed are the believers: those who humble themselves in prayer; those who avoid idle talk; those who pay alms-tax; those who guard their chastity.” Quran 23:1-5

“except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame” Again, everything I said in the explanation for verse 4:3 still applies to this verse too. A man cannot just mistreat his wife or if he has a bondwoman he cannot mistreat her either.

My education does come from evidence, quite clearly. All my explanations here, are from somebody who has translated the Quran- you can’t possibly tell me, you, somebody with zero understanding of Classical Arabic knows better than somebody who is qualified to translate the Quran?

I mean you claim to know the truth about Islam which quite clearly you don’t, you insinuate you’re educated yet a few replies ago you gave me reason to believe you didn’t know head coverings were not something exclusive to Muslim women and nor are full face veils.

Just accept you are ignorant in this matter, instead of persisting in it because you are looking very arrogant.

@007kingifrit Except it’s not a courtroom the verse itself even states that it refers to business contracts- every Islamic scholar and Quran translator will tell you that- just because people may misuse that ruling today, doesn’t mean that’s what the ruling states- saying you know better about Islam than Islamic scholars and translators of the Quran is like saying you know about COVID better than a virologist or the economy better than the economist😂😂

Again another brainwashing scare by your media, “Muslim controlled” areas literally don’t exist😂😂And you’d be very surprised😂😂

@SpiderManFan2002 ok ur just lying it literally says 4 witnesses must report a rape in order for women's claim of rape to be valid

hell it was 3 years ago that turkey almost passed a "marry your rapist" law. but i guess that was just a misunderstanding too. you're an overly gullible idiot

No, it doesn’t. Four witnesses is for adultery but rape is different to adultery- stop learning Islam from your media😂

There are zero countries in the world that actually carry out Islamic law to its full and proper extent there is not a single scholar out there that will tell you otherwise- Turkey may be a Muslim majority country but that means nothing, given they have a secular democracy- not Islamic law.

@SpiderManFan2002 she needs 4 witnesses to prove it ISN'T adultery otherwise all rape accusations count as adultery you idiot

all muslim countries are bad. lets not use the same "its not REAL islamic law" argument that communists use to excuse all communist countries

and if they aren't really carrying out islamic law according to its fullest... which aspects are they not applying?

No it’s not, you’re combining two completely different laws. A woman’s claim for rape is an entirely separate matter which I will explain to you once I get home from college.

To be honest, I’m not the most knowledgeable person on communism so I don’t know if that argument is correct or not, but it is correct for Muslim countries, and I highly doubt you’ve even been to a Muslim country to make that judgement.

I’ll tell you when I get home from college today my bus is coming soon I gotta go lol
