That is what it actually arrived to you from Ulta? Glad, I go with Sephora... thanks for that heads up! Yes, I would be very upset if the eyeshadow palette I ordered came to me already practically half gone... On another note, have you ever noticed that you like only use one or maybe three of the eyeshadows from the palette and never even touch the others?
I'd be pretty pissed. It looks like it was used and that's unsanitary. Even if the pan just fell out, you're MISSING AN ENTIRE SWATCH. Id ask for a refund! Makeup is expensive and you don't deserve less than you've paid for. So sorry that happened to you, hopefully they'll refund you or send you a new pallet if you ask.
Could I really be used? I ordered it off of ulta
Im not sure, I would assume their policy prevented that, but mistakes do happen. A couple years ago they were caught selling used makeup in stores, maybe its the same online? www.insider.com/ulta-employees-have-accused-the-company-of-selling-used-makeup-2018-1
I am not a girl so I don't understand why you would need all those colors. Seems like a waste and many of them won't be used at all. So if I need the missing color I take it back to store for a refund or replacement. It needs to happen frequently to upset me.
It doesn't look used to me, it looks to me like that cake popped out while in the production line at the factory.
I'd calmly report it to the vendor.
I'm sure they'll take care of the situation for you.

Looks like it was physically dug out unless you cleaned it up before taking the picture. But it happens I'm sure if you sent the place you ordered it from a picture they would send a replacement. But I wouldn't be that bothered in this case as the color looks pretty basic and I have it in a bunch of other pallets.
3 things
A is it BRAND NEW?
B how much did I pay?
C is it a color I will actually use?
If it’s new I didn’t pay over like $30 and it’s not a color I’d use I wouldn’t care that much , if not it’d probably be really upset
Yes I just brought it at Ulta it was 15 dollars
I used this technique in which I used a color from another eyeshadow palette and put it inside that slot that broke and then I patted it in with a few drops of alcohol now I’m just waiting for it to dry because that empty space was bothering me a little bit even though I wasn’t upset
I ordered it from ulta I mean
If it was a colour I really liked- I'd be very annoyed, but if it was a colour that I didn't really care about or wasn't going to wear often it'd still be slightly annoying that I payed for a damaged product- but it'd be no big deal lol.
I don't buy makeup through the internet, but that's how I expect it would end up being sent through the mail.
I left a lipstick in my car on a hot day and it turned into a puddle.
would depend on the brand. If I was higher quality I’d make a compliant but if it was just a cheap drug store palette and it was not a colour I was looking forward to using i wouldn’t care
complaint*
Not a big deal for me. But I dont even wear make up maybe that is why i think that way.
Yes 100% totally upset what did somebody think it was candy or something LOL
Yea id be peeved. But it is a delicate thing to ship in a way. If the powder was there that's so that water or alcohol smashy it down thing.
It's used.
Makeup shouldn't be sent out when it's used due to hygienic reasons that can give very nasty infections.
That's why you shouldn't use test samples in store that have been used.
Without a doubt I would be. Especially if it was supposed to be a brand new palette and not a used palette.
I wouldn't care to be honest. It still does the job
I'd be pissed off that not just the seal had been broken, but it's used. Eww
Its powder. powder spreads if not packaged right. So no, so long as I didn't spend lots on it.
Id return it or demand a refund it was clearly used before me!!
Also if the person that had it before could have had pink eye or something im not putting that near my eyes
It doesn't look used to me, it looks to me like that cake popped out while in the production line at the factory.
I'd calmly report it to the vendor.
I'm sure they'll take care of the situation for you. kirkscustomcabinetsinpomona. com/
Yea, that sucks
Ask for your money back or a refund
