I hate showing skin, would this outfit be ok for a VERY hot day?

Personally, I think it looks like a bit much for a hot day, like you might overheat. Maybe just some light, baggy pants instead of the leggings, but really, it's all about what you are comfortable with.

Is the material moisture-wicking? That’s the better determinant for this outfit. Coolibar makes SPF shirts and pants. Granted, the clothes aren’t pretty and are boomerish. I’m the same way. I like to cover up in the summer. I wear this spf shirt my dad got me from REI all the time in the summer. It’s long sleeve and I stay cool in it.

If you're going to wear clothes on a hot day, you're much better off wearing white or very light-colored clothing. Dark clothes will soak up the heat and make you even more uncomfortable.
