What price would you consider expensive for a lipstick?

I don't really know the market value of lipstick but from the answers I read here it seems the average is around 10 bucks.
Which kinda makes sense I mean paying more than that for a lipstick is wasting money on something that is really pointless in most cases.
And I am one who likes lipstick on women but it feels like there are occasions for it I'll never understand those who put on lipstick to go shopping for groceries.
So if you're a daily user of lipstick I'd say don't pay too much since you'll need new ones more often, but if you only put some on occasions you can raise that price since the stick will last you a while

I've tried every lipstick from the cheap Wet&Wild to the expensive M. A. C lipstick and i see no difference. That being said anything over $5 is way too much. UNLESS its a specific color you like and can't find anywhere, id pay probably $25 a tube if i could find a perfect metallic pink lipstick.

I wpuidbt spend more than 12$ but that’s special occasion. I normally don’t appreciate it above 6$
but I’m not really a make up connoisseur… I use it mostly as lip moisturizer bc lip moisturizer seems to disappear immediately lol plus a bit of color😊
