Guys, Does your neck feel naked without a tie?

In a word, 'No'. The necktie is part of a societal 'uniform'
and indicates a 'buy in' to social hierarchical conformity.

An unspoken 'Yes, Sir or M'am' , ... NOT a 'But WHY?'

'Genteel' class folk wear ties and suit coats
... blue collars' rarely wear ties
because they physically 'sweat' doing MANUAL labor.
Often perceived as not being 'smart enough' to foist
the weary, tedious soil-ing labor onto 'lesser' souls.

Although I HAVE a prestigious wardrobe, since retiring
I am most often found in comfortable T-shirts and/or sweats
except on 'formal' occasions.

Those whom seek me out, KNOW that I know my shit...
over HALF A FRICKEN CENTURY'S practical life experience,
and NOT just 'theoretical'. I carry the scars to prove it
(you should see the OTHER guy!)

Apart from being ugly, a necktie is a counterproductive piece in many ways. It presses the hard and uncomfortable collar into my sweaty neck. Not only is that unpleasant, but it also causes the most vulnerable part of the shirt to be worn out or discoloured faster. Instead of that, I want a nice shiny layer between my neck and the collar to protect both. Also, it turns out shiny soft scarfs are dirt cheap compared to good shirts. A comparable piece is an ascot, although that is just overpriced and does the same thing.
I didn't obviously shave, iron the shirt, tie a proper beard knot, nor arrange the lighting and angles for the photo since I am bad at that plus I work from home these days, but I hope if still gets my point across.

Depends on what look I'm going for. I'll wear a tie or bowtie with a detachable white collar for my 1920's look. I'll wear no tie and nice pants for a more casual 1950's look. But my favourite style will always be a vintage three piece suit with a bowtie.  1920's style suit

I hate ties. They look like arrows pointing to your crotch but sure sometimes they feel naked. This is why i wear black Chinese collar. Unless im really required to wear polo with tie, i have no choice.

I've only ever worn a tie in one job, and that lasted about half a year. I am not a fan. They are annoying to tie, they are uncomfortable, and just the whole suit thing is impractical. in my opinion the only use for formal menswear is making movie mobsters look cool and as a masturbatory aid to women.
