What do girls think of big belt buckles?

I’m originally from rural Ohio and grew up on a cattle farm. I live down in the Lowcountry of SC - more beaches than anything. I have 3 big belt buckles but there’s one that I’d love to wear out more. Problem is (I know “don’t care what people think”🙄) that I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb too much when I wear it. It’s like wearing a beach shirt in the winter of Alaska. People give weird looks all the time and it get annoying. One thing if a couple people stare but when the whole town stares then it’s annoying.

But my question is, what do girls think of big belt buckles? Like mine is more cowboy - two cowboys and two horses on it. Does it make a guy look like a big time hick? Or does it look cool/unique or maybe manly? (If you lived in an area where there wasn’t much around)

I love this belt, wear whatever you like, be happy. as long as you don't look crazy so you don't become scrutinized, wear what makes you happy. nobody should have a say on your taste for apparel, your style.

you might like to wear it with something elegant like a black or dark blue shirt or sweater, even a white one will do. put an elegant look together and then you'll make your belts elegant too.

i love them, i live in a fairly big city in CA, i wear belt buckles and boots all the time and i stick out like a sore thumb too. it makes me self conscious, but thats just who i am and how i like to dress. i love country boys and the whole belt buckle-boots thing. so if you can rock it, you feel confident, and happy about it — wear it proudly, that is who you are.

I could take it or leave it; depends on the guy also. Some guys they just look silly and ridiculous on, others they look nice on. The one you have sounds cool looking, so it could be alright, because of where you live.

I don't mind them at all, when I was in college I went on a date with a guy who was a literal cowboy and he wore one on our date to a nice little steak/BBQ place. I wear big buckels sometime. So if I see a guy wearing one I'll most likely swoon lol.

I don't know if I lived where they weren’t common, but here in south Alabama I see em and I personally love em. My brother wears them, I even wear em. So go for it, I’d say 🤠
