Cosmetics are the equivalent of a VISUAL condiment. What do YOU prefer on 'Your' consumable?

If you KNOW your audience, favoring THEIR preference empowers YOU.
'Romance' is 'feeling', reacting, fantasy... NOT thinking analytically.
Sans 'embellishment' a man is compelled to see 'beyond' his animal attraction of the projected 'persona'. Is it more favorable for YOU LONG TERM to be remembered as 'kind' or prettily 'desirable'?
MUCH of especially 'adult' life... is 'leverage' and opportunity. This begs consideration of the 'naughty schoolgirl' fetish paradigm and the disavowed empowerment it imparts. 'Pigtails', baby talk and the coy lowered gaze. DD/lg.

This is 'why' middle America juvenile beauty pageants are SO controversial.
In light of the Kent State Psych Department's 1995 irrefutable findings of juvenile allure to 87% of average hetero males, 'tart-ing up' pre-teen children in miniature adult attire are 'previews of coming attractions' as they mature, co-mingles the natural inclination to comfort and cuddle a cooing toddler with the nascent attraction of savoring the girl's foremost first raw sensual response.
Nerves have NO morality or ethics; ... that which feels good IS in THAT moment, new, exciting and 'GOOD'. Especially when innocently 'discovered'~ That leaning against an unbalanced washing machine mid spin cycle and the delicious 'goose bumps' arise and your hips move as if on their own.

So, returning to Cosmetics, they 'project' the wearer's confidence and intended 'image' usually younger or more sophisticated, 'mature' & commanding.

Nope. More like if women embrace being feminine and doing all of the things most men find attractive in a woman, odds are she will be attractive. When women decided to eat too much processed food, drink too much booze, watch too much Netflix, dye their hair green and chop it really short... and so on, they're making it very difficult for all but the most desperate loser guys to find them attractive.

I think the problem is that some girls use waaaaay too much make up, to the point they look irreal, they don't look like themselves, and then when they take it off, you see a whole new face.
Other thing is that some have insecurities or whatever, like hyperpigmentation, skin looking dull, eye bags, super thin eyelashes, and choose to use make up to cover them instead of finding a solution for whatever their issue is.
in my opinion, make up shouldn't be used to hide your face, but to highlight your beauty.

I would disagree with that.. Some women can look beautiful with no make up, and some women won't be pretty even wearing make up, especially those that cake it on

For what I find attractive, I would agree. I think about 5% are attractive. Looks are subjective though because the majority of guys I know are attracted to women that I have no attraction to at all. Probably because their face matters a lot to me when determining how attracted I am to them and I often don't find their faces attractive. No matter how good of shape their body is in, if I don't like her face it doesn't matter.

in Mexico for example, most schools don't even allow makeup... so millions of girls just go into their 20's wearing very little or no makeup

and of course there's a lot of beautiful women out there

I don't agree. To me, less is more. Sure lip gloss and a little powder, but the best and prettiest go with light to "highlight", not paint on.

Make up should be used to enhance not hide, a lot women are naturally beautiful with no make up on at all, but a little bit makes them look even prettier.
