What’s the most embarrassing situation you’ve been in because you weren’t wearing socks?

For my part, it was at my theater class. The teacher told us to remove our shoes and I was the only one barefoot because I was wearing my Converse without socks.

getting shut out of my own hotel room not wearing socks was embarrassing as i wasn't wearing anything else either

i was drunk and thought i had gone into the bathroom... as the door shut behind me i realized i was in the hotel corridor

I pretty much always wear socks and all my socks are like crazy designed and stuff and a lot of them are above the calf so I actually enjoy wearing them so I never go without
