Are tongue piercings hot or trashy?

Planning on getting my tongue pierced soon. Wondering how everyone feels about them. Are they attractive or no?

Hot when you're young, in your prime, and just fucking everyone for fun. Most men associate tongue piercing with blow jobs, and will assume you give them frequently and well; so often than not you won't be seen as wife material, but more of a good time.

Trashy when you're over the age of 45 (and didn't age well), and still single with or without children just trying to still pull guys like how you did in your teens, 20s, and 30s.

My opinion, if you're not interested in becoming a wife, enjoy yourself. If you want to become a wife, lose the piercing to have a higher chance of finding someone stable, clean, and with a above minimum wage job (not rich, but not living paycheck to paycheck).

Comeon you all know you like trashy lol JK... I happen to have one and love it. I don't look like trash and I don't flaunt it everywhere other. Also if you actually brush your teeth use mouthwash not gross or germ filled and they can be changed lol. Like clothes.. And for others it does not change the way you taste things it may change the way ypu eat. Use a reputable piercing shop so there are no accidents do your research before you get any piercings and listen to aftercare...

Not only do I not find them visually appealing, I find kissing someone with a metal bar or whatever in their mouth, it doesn't feel nice. Nor does it feel nice when they are giving head or doing other things with their mouth. It's just all around a fail for me.

I would say the visual aspect of it is the least of the issues. It could potentially kind of look cool, but the feeling of it is the biggest issue. I've tried with girls with tongue rings before, I can get over the look and the constant clacking when they talk, but the feel is unavoidable, and it just ends up I avoid kissing or getting intimate with them because it's unpleasant.

As long as you know what to do with the tongue piercing then it will probably be your best attribute. I mean with the right skill set you could change your name or introduce yourself as "Simply Unforgettable, nice to meet you..." I used to want to get my tongue pierced, but then both of my sisters ended up getting theirs pierced when they were 18-19 and that kind of ruined it for me (because then I'd just look like a copycat, obviously). Now I just don't have an interest in getting any piercings, but I don't necessarily find tongue piercings trashy or hot. If it's there, it's there. It's not really going to turn me off (or on) or anything. 😂

I have no opinion over tongue piercings being hot or trashy, I'm more concerned about my friends getting them done without realising that they will have the hole in their tongue FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. The hole will never close up and food particles will become trapped and start to rot if you don't flush it out using something like a water pick.

Yes. And if they hit an artery in your toung; you can become permenantly paralyzed. DO NOT get this peircing. I was warned not to get a cartilage peircing in that it could go wrong and my ear could collapse; well guess what? I didn't listen. I got the peircing and my ear collapsed.
