I like them on women. It’s not a necessity though, by any means. I don’t know if they’re making a comeback but they were fairly popular in the early 00s when I was a young gun. Only thing is…and I hate to put it this way, but I guess we’re supposed to be honest here, lmao…I definitely view them as sexual, maybe even as sexual advertisement.
There was a chick I hooked up with like 20 years ago, she used to hang around the bar I worked at, she seemed like she was kind of attracted to me, but she was borderline for me. (And she sounded EXACTLY like Quinn Morgendorfer, the sister on the old MTV show “Daria”…. BRUTAL, lmfao. Nice gal, but she gave off a slightly skanky vibe, lmao. But she would always do this thing when we’d talk where she’d respond to something I said with an open-mouthed shocked face, kind of facetiously like “how dare you?”, and her tongue was pierced. It got to a point where I was like “I feel like I’m thinking all the things they say you aren’t supposed to think, but this girl is DEFINITELY flashing me her tongue ring on purpose and trying to entice me.”
I am but a man of flesh and bone, so one night I finally gave in and went home with her. Purposely “forgot” condoms to increase the likelihood I’d just get a David Blowie, keep the commitment expectations low, just in case she was a clinger😂 Well, that’s exactly how it played out, and I’ll tell you what, she came as good as advertised.
Conversely, another gal I hooked up with had one, and I’m sorry to say her skills and enthusiasm level left a lot to be desired. (To be fair, she was only 19, the other chick was probably 23 or 24, maybe she found her game later down the road) She went on to say that she got her tongue pierced because all of her friends did it too, so it was “fashion over function” for her. The other gal seemed like it was for performance and to signal that she was about that action.
All that said, I don’t think the tongue ring itself made any perceivable difference for me. Nothing earth-shattering. I’d say it looks sexy, in my mind, and it can enhance the overall experience in that sense. It adds to the sexual energy of a gal, maybe that’s the best way to describe it, and I guess I’m just into high sexual energy from a dance partner. But if the same girl S’d my D in the dark twice, once with and once without a tongue ring, I wouldn’t feel much difference, I don’t think.
On guys…obviously it’s a different dynamic for me, but I’ve always thought the old Chris Rock line was funny: “if a girl has a tongue ring, she will probably suck your dick. I like them. I used to have a snake eyes tongue piercing but I took it out because they’re actually really dangerous piercings to have. There’s a chance of your tongue getting paralyzed from them and shit so I didn’t want to risk any damage.
I’ve debated getting a regular tongue piercing but they also have a really good chance of ruining your teeth and gums.
I can't imagine how painful they are and how long they take to heal, seeing as food has to go in your mouth and intro bacteria into an open wound... I don't understand why they're done... except there's some sort of sexual stimulation thing associated with them like nipple, penis and clit piercings. I say ewww. Those areas too sensitive for me to do any such thing.
I have one tattoo on my lower back and that took three weeks to heal. It was painful and is it. Plus, everybody is into tattoo overkill. I'm not one who runs with a crowd. If everyone's doing it, I'm not. Plus, bare skin, to me, is more beautiful.

It's not that bad. I got one done a couple of years ago. Everyone's body heals differently. For the first 3 or 4 days, they're usually swelled a little and it may affect your speech, but after that first week, it's all good. I still ate cheeseburgers and fries after mine, lol. You can still eat after getting it done. Just don't eat spaghetti! It will get wrapped around it. Spaghetti, noodles, SpaghettiOs, and any kind of pasta. Yeah, probably be a good idea to stay away from the Olive Garden, lol.
Pasta gets wrapped around it. Other than that, you can pretty much eat anything, but I would still ask the person who does the piercing if you ever get one because usually, they pierce you with a starter gauge, so when you go to change it out and put a ball or a bar in that you want, certain food can get wrapped around certain ones. It's nothing though. Trust me! People will tell you all kinds of horror stories to talk you out of it, don't listen!

I have a lot of piercings. But for some odd reason, I could never get myself to pierce my tongue. I wouldn’t consider it sexy but something interesting. I have something else instead.
I would never get it, I would feel very strange to kiss someone with that. However, I support my friends and family to do whatever they want, it’s just I wouldn’t want my romantic partner to have it.
I have one. There are so many different balls you can change. I've had bullseyes, 8-balls, ones shaped like the earth, one that looked like Saturn, and spikey ones too. The only downside to them is I'm always playing with my tongue, lol.

Not a fan personally. Feel weird to put a piercing through a muscle rather than just like skin and cartilage. But plenty of people are into it so there's that.
Tattoos and piercings are the easiest way to tell if a girl has poor decision making capabilities and a lack of good judgement. The only piercings any decent girl should have are her ears.
It's just a red flag that you're an attention whore or too dumb to use words to flirt so you need a fishing lure type thing on your tongue to wag at people.
I don't see what they accomplish for the wearer, and there IS a rick of complications. That said, I wouldn't mind a willing female with a well-healed, sanitary tongue piercing to give me a kiss or two- maybe three. :- )
I think of it in two ways. Usually I am not thinking about it. That’s the first way. The second way is when I do think about it I think the piercing process is disgusting in a makes-my-skin-crawl way.
