My mom would LOVE for me to wear dresses like that because there's no cleavage (as if I had that much to begin with) and thighs are covered. BUT, it also shows curves nicely so she probably wouldn't - LOL.

But, I think the person we are should be a LOT more important than what we're wearing. But people tell me that's not realistic. I don't know.

It certainly is "safe" in that it IS a very modest dress by way of coverage, yet it does show your shape. I'd say it's OK, but I think there would be other outfits that would also work well. This is pretty much a "movie and a meal" dress to me. Couldn't wear it to a ball game or hockey match, or playing mini-golf or going bowling, for example. Here are some outfits that cover well, yet still look a bit feminine... Casual fun date outfit A little more dressy, but still "business casual"- very versatile look - - - Nice skirt and dressy T-top, with some matching brown leather accents - - - could be a few inches longer, but still rather modest. Wear with graphite tights?

Nothing wrong with that, it looks great! If a guy doesn't want to be with you because you weren't revealing enough, do you really want to hang out with a guy that shallow? Dress for what you're comfortable with and have fun. This dress is fine if you're happy with it!

It looks totally appropriate... maybe add a black belt or something... accessorize. But it shows your figure and is a good style. You look very nice it that cut of dress... I am guy so patterns are not my thing... so I can't give you any good fashion advice about patterns. But dress is good.

Says, I’ve got it…anyone can tell but I’m not a Sl-t. In today’s world, there is nothing left to imagination with all the skin showing.
-That dress says, to a guy- I could take her Jude’s Hospital charity and she will know how to basically dress and act at a Formal (velvet/silk dress) food, alcohol, and bidding event.

It's pretty and fits your body well. It doesn't show too much but does show that you are in good shape. The only way it could be considered too prude was if you were trying to convey your willingness to have sex on the first date. I'm assuming that's not what you are going for so I think it would be a fantastic choice.

not great for a first date no, I've had the best compliments wearing a cowl neck sweater dress and leather leggings underneath and some ankle boots. All black. What you are wearing is more like what you would wear to church... sorry!
