I probably should. I got the opposite of the balding thing that men got. I grow hair on my head like a maniac. I have to get a haircut every few months or my bangs grow into and beyond my eyes. When haircutters snip my hair it's worse than every other customer with the amount of hair they have to cut. They keep saying my hair is so thick but I'm not sure that's a good thing for me. But maybe those long bunches of hair could serve a purpose for people who don't have any rather than being swept up and thrown into a bin.

At 68 years of age, I'd let my hair grow shoulder length, as those of you who follow me or are Potter fans know... I AM what I say I am.
I went to my local 'Great Cuts' and got myself sheared and donated my hair for kids with cancer... SO, somewhere 'out there' are one or more kids who now have a hairpiece made of GENUINE 'Wizard's Hair'. May it serve them as it has served me "SO MOTE THIS BE! ) O ( " B:. B:. <3
I debated it.. Iāve been growing out my hair for about 2-3 years. Itās now down to my hips, but depending on the place, 12 inches is required and 12 inches off curly hair is a lot.
I take pride in my hair, thatās what makes me, me. If my hair grows any longer, I would donate it. I just havenāt had my hair short since I was in kindergarten. It will feel weird.
Yeah but do NOT donate your hair to āLocks of Loveā. I just learned that they actually CHARGE the families for their kids wig! I think āWigs For Kidsā is way better because they actually give the kids the wigs! Iām not donating my hair to a business like Locks of Love that sells wigs to children with cancer!

I have never grew that much long hair to donate it lol. The longest it was when it was a bit longer than shoulder length but that didn't suited me so yeah I keep it till shoulder length or Bub cut always. However in future if I grow extremely long hair then I would like to donate it.
Yes I have. I shaved my head for my best friend in high school. My best friend has alopecia and in high school super insecure about it. I didn't want her to feel alone.
My daughter did when she was 14, I took her in for a trim, and the hairdresser told her about wigs for cancer patients, and my daughters hair would be perfect, so she did it, even though her hair was way shorter than she wanted, she said mom, I can grow my hair back, cancer patients can't, bless her little hart
That is really cool. And people donāt understand how expensive wigs with real hair are either.
I did, when I finally cut off my long hair, back in my early 20's.
That was when I made the switch from long hair, to shaving my head. I had always taken good care of my hair, so I figured someone may as well get some use out of it.Oh I as a kid always wanted to tbh because my hair was annoyingly long for me, but my parents never allowed me to
but I'm glad i didn't tbh because i like my long hair still even tho I've gotten a few inches cut off like months agoI would have to grow it out to do that. And I can't stand that! That's ironic when you consider I had long hair as a kid right into middle school.
I will have to content myself with donating my time to tutoring. 😊Sadly no here where I'm from I don't think we have option for that. But I would love to if I got a chance for now I can just keep donating blood now and then.
I donated 23 inches of my hair to locks of love in March of 2019! Such an amazing thing to be able to do. Iām blessed to have really thick hair!🙂
Yes, once. Before I went into the Guard I had about 16 inches chopped off before I went into Army basic training.
Is that real pic of your real hair?
i went full on buzz a few times and donated my long hair and this spring doing it again. i donated it a few times now, and air high five girl!
Good for you! Yes. Iāve done this a great number of times since a teen. Including shaving to a buzz for charity.
Never did and never will; I love my hair too much and I want to even longer than is it. I would like to have mid thigh length (I'm nearly there) ^-^
Very nice of you to do that.
I have not donated my hair... I don't have that much anyway, and not sure anyone would want what I do have.once a long time ago.. i had 18" cut off...
I donated my hair a long time ago to "Locks Of Love" best thing I could have done and they sent me a small thing to thank me for my hair donation
I did when I was like 13, then cut my hair again in 2020 and still haven't taken the ponytails anywhere. Christ, I can't believe it's 2022, thanks for reminding me.
I guess I should've when I shaved it all off 33 years ago but, by then, it was on the short side, anyway.
Why do kids need wigs?Yes.
In April 2000, I made a 22-inch donation to Locks of Love.
