I probably should. I got the opposite of the balding thing that men got. I grow hair on my head like a maniac. I have to get a haircut every few months or my bangs grow into and beyond my eyes. When haircutters snip my hair it's worse than every other customer with the amount of hair they have to cut. They keep saying my hair is so thick but I'm not sure that's a good thing for me. But maybe those long bunches of hair could serve a purpose for people who don't have any rather than being swept up and thrown into a bin.
Grow it out and donate to the kids!
I hope they're cool with wavy caveman hair if so! I don't think I grow beautiful hair. I just grow it fast and hard! :-D
They are! 100%. They just donāt like highly processed hair.
I, personally, have never dyed mine so they love ot.
*it..
I got very oily hair and I got a bit of a dandruff problem. Been using Head and Shoulders a lot and that helps but my hair seems very oily and flaky with dry skin.
I think they would still want it!
I will try to look for donations next time. Maybe I can just wait 6 months. I'll get some very long strands then. I dig it if I can help rather than feel like a bum with it.
Love it!
I've always gotten hair compliments. Like from girls for my eyelashes:

But I think it's from being a caveman. I grow it everywhere and not in flattering places like grow epic amounts of hair around my ass. The shit gets stuck in my ass hairs. Balls, pubes, armpits.
I've had to pull out dry pieces of shit from my ass hair before along with half of my ass.
If only I could start balding around there and the pubes way before my head. That would be awesome!
Holy cow! TMI! My bad. I got a vague recollection of our conversation right before I slept and was thinking I was incredibly stupid. I drank way too much before my answer. So I think it's like I was trying to balance how much I was showing off how much hair I could grow with how much I could grow it in the worst places. I'm not sure what I was thinking in some intoxicated rationale. But sorry about that! Very embarrassing!
But I do grow hair absurdly fast at least on my head. So maybe I can direct it towards a better purpose than seeing it make epic bundles of hair on the floor at a barber.
At 68 years of age, I'd let my hair grow shoulder length, as those of you who follow me or are Potter fans know... I AM what I say I am.
I went to my local 'Great Cuts' and got myself sheared and donated my hair for kids with cancer... SO, somewhere 'out there' are one or more kids who now have a hairpiece made of GENUINE 'Wizard's Hair'. May it serve them as it has served me "SO MOTE THIS BE! ) O ( " B:. B:. <3
I debated it.. Iāve been growing out my hair for about 2-3 years. Itās now down to my hips, but depending on the place, 12 inches is required and 12 inches off curly hair is a lot.
I take pride in my hair, thatās what makes me, me. If my hair grows any longer, I would donate it. I just havenāt had my hair short since I was in kindergarten. It will feel weird.
12 inches off curly hair is a lot. I am really glad I did it. š„°
It must feel refreshing without all the hair! I debate it almost every day š
Yeah but do NOT donate your hair to āLocks of Loveā. I just learned that they actually CHARGE the families for their kids wig! I think āWigs For Kidsā is way better because they actually give the kids the wigs! Iām not donating my hair to a business like Locks of Love that sells wigs to children with cancer!

I have never grew that much long hair to donate it lol. The longest it was when it was a bit longer than shoulder length but that didn't suited me so yeah I keep it till shoulder length or Bub cut always. However in future if I grow extremely long hair then I would like to donate it.
Yes I have. I shaved my head for my best friend in high school. My best friend has alopecia and in high school super insecure about it. I didn't want her to feel alone.
I love that and missed you my dear! š„°
Missed you too lovie. Happy to see you
Aww that's beautiful seriously. I would have to
š„°š„°š„°š„°
My daughter did when she was 14, I took her in for a trim, and the hairdresser told her about wigs for cancer patients, and my daughters hair would be perfect, so she did it, even though her hair was way shorter than she wanted, she said mom, I can grow my hair back, cancer patients can't, bless her little hart
That is really cool. And people donāt understand how expensive wigs with real hair are either.
Very true and thank you š„°
I did, when I finally cut off my long hair, back in my early 20's.
That was when I made the switch from long hair, to shaving my head. I had always taken good care of my hair, so I figured someone may as well get some use out of it.
Oh I as a kid always wanted to tbh because my hair was annoyingly long for me, but my parents never allowed me to
but I'm glad i didn't tbh because i like my long hair still even tho I've gotten a few inches cut off like months ago
I would have to grow it out to do that. And I can't stand that! That's ironic when you consider I had long hair as a kid right into middle school.
I will have to content myself with donating my time to tutoring. 😊
Sadly no here where I'm from I don't think we have option for that. But I would love to if I got a chance for now I can just keep donating blood now and then.
Never did and never will; I love my hair too much and I want to even longer than is it. I would like to have mid thigh length (I'm nearly there) ^-^
When you do, show me a picture <3
@KostasKouvalis Ok I will ^-^
I donated 23 inches of my hair to locks of love in March of 2019! Such an amazing thing to be able to do. Iām blessed to have really thick hair!🙂
Yes, once. Before I went into the Guard I had about 16 inches chopped off before I went into Army basic training.
Is that real pic of your real hair?

i went full on buzz a few times and donated my long hair and this spring doing it again. i donated it a few times now, and air high five girl!
Good for you! Yes. Iāve done this a great number of times since a teen. Including shaving to a buzz for charity.
Very nice of you to do that.
I have not donated my hair... I don't have that much anyway, and not sure anyone would want what I do have.
once a long time ago.. i had 18" cut off...
I love it! I have a few times in my life and it feels amazing.
i like my hair long becoz it is super thick
I usually like mine long too but I sacrificed it for the kids. š„°
I donated my hair a long time ago to "Locks Of Love" best thing I could have done and they sent me a small thing to thank me for my hair donation
I did when I was like 13, then cut my hair again in 2020 and still haven't taken the ponytails anywhere. Christ, I can't believe it's 2022, thanks for reminding me.
I guess I should've when I shaved it all off 33 years ago but, by then, it was on the short side, anyway.
Why do kids need wigs?
@lrina But, they don't HAVE to fight cancer. There's nearly 400 known natural cures, quite a few of which you can get at your local grocery store! Chemo & radiation are NOT on the list!
@FunkyMonkee unfortunately, those are not very well known. the problem is that hospitals want to make money, and they wouldn't make anywhere near as much if those natural cures got leaked. and you can easily get silenced if you do try to speak up about it. very horrible though.
@lrina Yeah, I know! That''s because of big pharma! They're not interested in cures, just treatments that can put more money in their pockets for the rest of your life! But, don't you think it's time a LOT of us TOLD everyone about those cures? The more people know about them, the less control and money big pharma will have over/from us!
My mother had cancer all over her body a few years ago, HUGE purple and green welts all over her back and chest!! as soon as I found oout, I went to the grocery store a block away and bought two things I needed to make gher a cancer cure!! she, wisely, refused to take chemoo & radiation! Starting the next day,. I took this stuff to her in the hospital and gave her a teaspoon twice a day. Within a week, her Dr. told her, "I don't know what you're doing and I don't WANT to know but, whatever it is, keep doing it because your cancer is going away!!" (A cancer Dr. that doesn't WANT to know how to cure cancer?) Within another month or two, she was clean!! Cancer contributed to her death about 15 months later but it's NOT what she died OF!!
@lrina All you gotta do is keep spreading the word! The more people that know, the more will make use of it and demand doctors actually DO SOMETHING about it rather than silencing it!
@lrina So, get out there and spread the good word! A lot won't listen but, you gotta try.
Yes.
In April 2000, I made a 22-inch donation to Locks of Love.
Yes, several times. I need to cut my hair again soon and I'm going to donate it again!
Well done, I'd love to but I don't have enough for myself 😂
I did once. Now it doesnāt grow like that anymore lol
That's awesome.
I've thought about doing that since middle school
Congratulations! Great ministry to others.
They wouldn't want what's left of my hair- not worth the effort.
I don't even know if we can do that here and my hair is always so damaged from colouring.
That's a very special thing you did. 💗
I would if I had any to spare.
I wish I could have, but my hair just isn't long enough for that.
My hair gets useless and dry when it gets even slightly close to a length where I could donate
no way. it's all a scam to get your DNA. They're probably building clones of you right now as we speak, to do testing on or send into outer space to fight and try to conquer other planets. :o Also, I've never had long enough hair to donate.
I used to do that too to Locks of love... I did it for years and now I hear that they do not donate the wigs... That kind of sucks...
HELP! THIS CRAZY BITCH IS AFTER MY HAIR!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/cVsMOC62aQII would but... what hair?
š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Well we do it as part of tradition through temples and this is generally given for similar causes.
Never considered it really.
i wouldn't. but it's quite sweet of you
yup! mine went to the princess trust,
No, I haven't done this.
I have donated to Locks of Love before.
No. It's very likely a scam.
only Blood so far.. hair sounds like a good idea
Yes when I get a hair cut.
I don't have long hair, so no.
Seriously? I am bald and shave my head.
Congratulations ā¤ļø
I don't
Nope
I don't have enough
I have not
