I’m in USA, and for some reason a lot of people wear their shoes around their home here. If anything I think it’s considered ‘rude’ if guests take their shoes off in someone else’s home.
I always take my shoes off as soon as I walk in, and I have a pair of slippers or crocs that I use to walk around with (or sometimes I just walk around with socks)
but I don’t make people take their shoes off when they come in, unless they come in my bedroom. My carpet in my room was disgusting cause I would always invite my friends over. I had to shampoo the whole thing and now they gotta take them bitches off lol

I put my shoes on when I get dressed in our bedroom in the morning and I leave them on until I get undressed for bed at night. I always have and it's what I'm comfortable with. Besides, I have different shoes and boots in different colors for different clothes and occasions. You can't keep all those sitting by the door. I do take a pair of slippers to my sons' houses when I visit. Of course, that means I have to make sure to wear a pair of shoes that slip off and on easily. That pretty much negates boots or shoes with laces. Even if I didn't wear shoes in the house, I would wear slippers. I don't like walking barefoot in the house, unless it's on plush carpeting. And not all the floors in our house are carpeted.
I do, but they’re not the same. I have separate shoes for going out and for home. Anyone who wears their outside shoes at home seriously need to stop doing it. I wear slippers at home and call it “home slippers” it’s for keeping my feet clean. I can’t wear socks since it’s pretty hot and walking barefoot just makes me feel weird.
No, they come off at the door unless I'm carrying something that for some reason makes it impossible to do right away, in which case they come off right after I deal with that.
Inside I either wear Ugg slippers or it's just me and my socks.

I was raised to not wear shoes inside and taught to always take my shoes off at another person's home as a sign of respect. When you've been outside, walking through all kinds of things, grass, mud, or your shoes are all wet, you do not want dirty a person's floor or carpet on account of that.
We often wore Slippers inside and should they ever accidentally been used outside for some reason than they would need to be cleaned as well. Not everyone was raised the same way, so I imagine their are all kinds of different thoughts about this.Growing up outside shoes were removed right as you entered the door in my house and usually parents or elderly would have indoor slippers/flip flops to wear inside the house. My Fillipino, Indian and Chinese friends have all the same custom. It is consider very rude to wear outdoor shoes in the house. My Western friends on the other hand, didn't care
It is normally a African way of etiquette to keep off them shows when entering a house. And that is how I was raised n I cannot tolerate steping inside the house with shoes wic have been out in dirt n shit of different levels. So am team no shoes in the house.
We try not to wear shoes inside our home, and instead wear slippers inside. Shoes are generally saved for outside. That keeps the floors cleaner.
I thought most homes don’t wear shoes inside wtf? Isn’t that unhygienic? If any guest comes and me and family wears slippers. If they want to wear socks that’s fine but not dirty shoes…
I always wear very high heeled thigh high platform boots and long gloves which are very super bright pink just like everything else I wear and own.
We don't wear shoes at the home here in Denmark.
I've always found it very weird when I hear people do that.I wear slipon shoes at home all the time. Getting my foot stepped on by a 100 pound dog hurts without a decent pair of house shoes on.
No way. I have kids and they straight up eat snacks off the floor so my floors have to stay clean so no shoes
I wear home shoes in my house. Most floors are made of marble tiles and they can be slick barefoot or in socks
In hot weather, I wear as little as possible indoors. In the winter, I'll wear thick socks or maybe slippers because the floors get so cold.
?
Slippers or socks.
Even in the U. S we had to take our shoes off at the door.I walk barefoot for most part, i use slippers when i need to throw out trash or something. I have done both back, walk barefeet and walk with slippers, barefeet usually in summer, slippers in winter cus of cold floor.
I try not to. I either wear socks or slippers. It keeps the floors cleaner that way.
I have wooden floors so yeah. But I don't like to walk in my room with shoes on.
Shoes I wear not in my home (said in a Yoda voice).
No but I do when anyone enters. I don’t like being barefoot with anyone other than the wife.
And anyone who wears sandals outdoors should be shot. No one wants to see your feet.No I dont wear shoes in the house. It's kinda gross when you think about it. You walk everywhere outside and perhaps stepped in crap and you walk all over the house with that?
Use to but now it’s socks, but my wife likes barefooted better.
I don’t, it was not how I was raised and it feels weird to do. I grew up living life shoeless unless we were going somewhere.
