Are you afraid of eye laser/LASIK surgery?

I've worn glasses ever since I was three years old. I love wearing glasses. I love how they look and feel on me and men including my husband love how they look on me. I wear my glasses all the time even while I'm sleeping showering and swimming. I couldn't stand to be without my glasses for even a second. I actually consider having bad eyesight a blessing as I get to wear glasses and would consider having good eyesight a curse since I wouldn't get to wear glasses. I would never ever even consider getting Lasik or wearing eye contacts. Plus wearing glasses gives me another thing pink to wear and I absolutely love love love pink. Pink is such a beautiful color and men love how I look in pink. My glasses are very super bright pink just like everything I wear and own Even the cigarettes I smoke are very super bright pink.
I refuse to wear or own anything not pink. The only thing I love not pink is my men who I love very dark black and I'm married to and have kids with a very dark sexy black man.

Nope, not at all. One of my aunts is an ophthalmologist. She said the LASIK surgery has a low risk rate. I wear glasses myself. I’m planning to get it done after I turn 20. If you want to do it, go ahead. It’s totally worth it. I’d advice you to consult your ophthalmologist first though. Do what’s best for you.

It's a pretty established procedure, and the risks are pretty low, but I have to confess, I'd be rather nervous about someone shooting lasers into my eyes.

My question is: who was the first person to volunteer for the surgery? And what could POSSIBLY have driven them to hate glasses so much? I mean, they get told "We've got this idea for a surgical procedure that involves pointing a device that can vaporize a bulldozer at your eyes, but if it works, it'll fix your vision", and they say "okay, sure". Have you ever hated ANYTHING that much?

I did it about 18 years ago and was well worth it. It's over very quickly too!
