Well first it’s called a run, not a rip or a tear. But yes I hate it! Under most circumstances it’s a nuisance, but when it’s the last pair of that color, shade, style, then yes it REALLY pisses me off! There’s nothing worse than having to change your entire outfit because you don’t have any more dark bronze pantyhose!

What exactly were you doing to rip them, climbing on a barb wire fence? The Goth girls wear them on purpose so just put on some dark makeup and don't bother changing.

Hate it when it happens too that’s why I either wear thick ones I can’t rip when cold or go without tights if I can when a little warmer. Going a size larger also tends to help if with the silk feel type thin ones as then you’re not constantly pulling and yanking them up

I hate it when it happens, but if it's small at the bigging not just a enormous ripe I have a tip. Put some transparent nail polish on it and it will stop. I don't know why but it absolutely works!

A lot depends on outfit, simply dressing it down may make the rips looks more fashionable, if not, then take off or get some new ones.
