I bought such a nice pair of pants yesterday. It fits nicely on my thighs, but it’s huge on the waist and even a belt doesn’t help.
I mean, I want to be nice and not mean. But if you are thick and curvy, which is NOT a bad thing, then yes you will have this problem often.
For me, as a man, it's the opposite problem. I get a pair of pants that fit me waist nicely, but they are baggy around my ass. I get a pair of pants that fit my ass, and waist is too tight. But I am one of those body types that fall between two different sizes, because of a pancake ass. Its true, my ass is my least attractive feature, it sucks but I have learned to live with it. 36 waist is too big, 34 waist is too small... 35 would be best but odd number sizes are hard to find. So, I lost 15 pounds and I do not have that problem. 34 is the right size.

I have a slim waist , genuine 30/32 dependent on manufacturer , so long as I get the waist size right all is great , no matter how big I get my legs to.
The problem you have is your shape is great , but they are just making them to the common template , and all those girls are fatter than you , its your shape that is correct , also if in China , very few Chinese have that shape , they are more " straight up and down " ..
Its same in US when you go there just throw every size out the window , they make for the general populous.
Yes. I finally realized that if I shopped in curvy sizes, they fit much better. My waist is small and my BMI is 22.1, so I didn't think of curvy pants for a long time because I associated it with very curvy women. I just thought something was wrong with me because pants never fit right. I'd check out curvy pants even if you are slender if you run into this problem a lot.
not really n if there is an issue id fix it at home

Ah, the eternal struggle with pants! I totally get it. Finding that perfect fit where it hugs in all the right places can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Have you considered taking them to a tailor? It might sound a bit extra, but honestly, it's such a game-changer. A small adjustment at the waist can make them fit like they were made just for you. Plus, it adds a little personal touch to your wardrobe, making those pants extra special. Also, there are those nifty no-sew waistband tighteners available online; they're discreet and could be a quick fix! Sometimes, a little tweak is all it takes to go from saggy to snazzy. 😉

That because you have a big ass. It you buy the to fit you waist the won't come past your hip and it you by that to fit you hips they'll be to big in the waist. That is a really beautiful problem to have!!! 😍😍😍😋😋😋
I need a belt with many pants, so I'm sort of familiar with what you mean, but it's not too bad with the absolute sizing. So I never had the real need for a professional size alteration. But since you are in China you have the advantage to get everything resized really cheap. My tailored dress shirts only cost me 35€ per piece if I remember correctly.
Yep lol I used to get so mad about it, like "Why can't they make jeans that fit?" It's nice when you do find that pair that fits just right though.
I used to have that problem before...
my built wasn't the most popular... but Texas is a big state, and so are people
so, I do spend some extra to get a better fit and quality
I was a dancer growing up and to fit my thighs into pants I had to buy two sizes larger than my waist. It's somewhat irritating.
I always have to buy pants that are too big for me. Any pants that fit my waist are too small for my thighs, it's the same for my dad. So unless I wear a tight belt, the back of my pants always pull down when I walk.
I have that problem too. I have muscular thighs, and by the time I get a pair of trousers to fit, the waist is ridiculously big.
This is always an issue for me and they don't make jeans that are smaller on the waist. I have always struggled with this.
Fashion nut here I use to have that problem especially when i was modeling but i memorized my size.
post about them in how do i look I'll comment. <3I have some jeans like that, but now prefer them to be "loose' at the waist rather than them being too tight... and uncomfortable.
Yeah, I be having the same problem since I'm slim. Usually I just return it and get another one, hate wasting time trying on clothes.
Happily, I don't have that problem and do a lot of online shopping and they always fit.
I have just the opposite problem. My waist keeps getting bigger than my pants. 🙉🙊🙈
No, I don't. I am not sure what your proportions are like, but maybe you're an hourglass figure.
I have pants that range from 34 to 38. I have to wear different ones depending if I have been swimming a lot or not.
No I have the problem of them always fitting tight on my butt and thighs
