Unless the company is itself LGBTQ founded and led, I'm probably not gonna buy their Pride merch. Especially not buying if they only do it during Pride.
But honestly it's fine. As a consumer, it's your right to ignore and not spend your money on it. Or, obsess and buy.
Companies gonna company. They're interested in your money, not your values.

Oh it drives me up the wall. I dont want a special month to celebrate pride by buying a rainbow themed item. Its just people who don't care about the movement trying to profit from it. I hate that they get clout every year during that time and don't support it openly the rest of the time.
Considering I am not in the market for tampons, I don't have any problem with Tampax marketing their tampons to females.
Each of us is different and belongs to different sets of groups. There is nothing wrong with marketing to specific groups.
I feel fine about it, if there weren't companies like that all the clothing would typically be the same. That is their genre of the market, they have found a niche and are capitalizing on it

If they target me it doesn't get me to buy from them any more than usual, but if they support a group I highly oppose (BLM, the violent, racist, criminal group) then I do stop buying from/supporting them.
I wouldn't feel exploited. My bigger concern would be if they are actively marketing against me. If that's the case, then I'll gladly take my business somewhere else.
I guess that Carhartt markets to me. I think it is pretty cool.
You're confused.
The purpose of capitalism is to make a profit by any means necessary. The purpose of faith, laws and ethics is to restrict thatI don't care 🤷... if I like it I will want it.
This type of marketing is am excuse to make things expensive. :(Stupid, unless it's sex toys why would the sexuality of their customers be even a part of the marketing?
Hmm as retarded a concept I think that is, I do like the idea of a brand catering to my specific skin tone and build. That would be pretty great.
What They are doing is nothing new. People make money from exploitation. Governments been doing it as long there have been governments
I work for a company only higher-ups are black or Asian islanders, and only good looking people are promoted easier
I don't see any point in that. They prolly just want to make money lol
