First it is a form of insecurity in most cases, and of course, the consequence is not overcoming your insecurities and also catfishing because if you cover to the point you don't look like you, you're not physically showing yourself how you are.

Editing is a clear form of cat-fishing and so is plastering on so much makeup. It's ok so use natural or moderate makeup that doesn't change your face.

Yep, basically if the face you wake up in the morning is still recognisable after make up then it's fineee. With editing it immediately gets changed
