Technically, hey can "impact your life", but not in the way many people would think, so this is really a "NO" but with minor exceptions.
Yes, gemstones are used to reflect the month of given occasions in life, ie, birthstones, etc. (The colors of some) gemstones may also have some sort of historical connection to physical /philosophical / attributes. Some examples include: blue sapphires representing fidelity; clear diamonds standing for purity; and purple amethyst and/or sapphires, and gold spinels/topaz symbolizing royalty.
There are no "credible, reproducible, double-blind, controlled studies"- the scientific "gold standard" for valid research- that show crystals have any mystical, magical powers of their own.
That said, there is an exception, but it's really an indirect, two-step process.
Amethyst and/or tourmaline, crystals (sometimes even jade!) can absorb energy, which- in turn- is then re-radiated to the body in the far infra-red wavelengths to deeply warm and loosen tissue, and in the process, may even release negative ions to help balance ionic charges while using the crystal-containing products. There is nothing mysterious about the efficacy of the crystals: they get heated, they re-radiate the heat at a wavelength very useful to the muscle and connective tissue in our bodies.
Yes, even in Star Trek- - where crewmen heated a rock with a hand phaser to create radiating, body-useable heat- - we see that natural materials can be heated for use in hydrotherapy to help sooth the body - water, bamboo sticks, buckwheat hot packs, herbal poultices, lavender eye bags, rocks/stones, etc. The amethyst/tourmaline crystals, however, do so very efficiently and effectively, and the tiny 2-4mm crystals can be designed into products more easily than random stones could be.
And regardless of any physical benefit (s) , many stones and minerals (most minerals end in "ite") are just nice to look at!

It’s a matter of belief, as with most things magic, mystical, or religious.
There is no scientific evidence whatsoever that crystals have an impact on your life, or they have any concealed property that gives them “energy” or any other sort of power beyond just being a pretty stone.
As you mentioned, being a pretty stone is already a good thing! I like to have pretty things around in my life. A few of them are stones for display in my house. I’m not informed of their supposed power. But they are shiny and colorful and give me joy. I think that’s already half of the answer: if you like it (and the price is honest) maybe it’s already worth it!
The other thing is the spiritual aspect of it. I’m not a believer in magic or mystical energy. But does it matter? Your mind can find comfort, joy, and hope in all sorts of things. Some people wear religious symbols as acts of devotion, even when their religion doesn’t prescribe anything of the sort. Still, these people clearly get something out of it. If you have a belief that a stone might be good for you, even if it’s only a half belief or it’s for the laughs, then you will definitely find some comfort in having it.
Just don’t base your belief on what others tell you, because there is NO truth at all on this stuff. No source will ever reliably tell you that a stone has a certain power, and the “energy” they are talking about is totally made up. If the buying price of an object is justified by its powers, it’s just a scam. It’s predatory on vulnerable people, and you shouldn’t endorse it.
You are the only person in charge of your beliefs. You can base them on science, or anything else. And it doesn’t hurt anyone if you decide that a certain object has special value to you. Plus, it looks good!

They can look cool. I suppose it's POSSIBLE they have some sort of mystical effect, but I wouldn't bet on them calling benevolent spirits or blasting your enemies with hely fire.
And if it's alexandrite or... zultanite, I think, is the other one, they can distract people, CEAf well.
i did sum re-search long ago and crystals an make u trap people inside like even 4 1000 years
I’m not sure I’m understanding, please retype
i did sum re-esarch long ago nd crystals ad make u trap people inside like even 4 1000 years
Only way they can impact your life is if a 10 pound crystal falls off a cliff face and bonks you on the head.
very true!
People will believe in ANYTHING, but as long as it doesn't impact on others? I have no problem with it, nor would I ever make fun of them for it.. As for do I believe in it? Nope, not a chance.
Nice idea, but don’t think so.
i guess I’d you live by the words associated with the crystal then they work
They do have an energy to them. But it doesn't mean that they make you shoot fireballs at your enemies lmao
It’s pseudo-scientific nonsense, unless you grind them up and eat them.
Completely made up
