I mean they retire at the age of 30 and I literally donn't think it is something serious.. Most models look nothing like they do with makeup on and I prefer to be natural. I hate being photoshoped and be pressured to diet a way the modeling agencies want me to. I know that I have a slim and beautiful body etc etc but i see many differences in my body with the bodies of models. I think that that profession isn't for me. I also don't like how mean are people towards me on this site. One girl literally posted the same question with me after I did and her question wasn't moved from Fashion and beauty to how do i look like my most did which had the same question lmaooo. I guess people on this site either are ignorant or just hypocrites... What am I even doing here I don't know.
That girl wasn't even a real account. It's a catfsh/troll, probably made directly from your own question.
Also, you DO realize you have a stalker on here, right? Your FIRST GAG troll! So cute! I remember my first! Kept calling me "Mac CHeetah" and made about twenty accounts on here that GAG never removed because many of the moderators hate me, too. Our little baby Marianna is growing up! Her first GAG stalker! We need to celebrate!
Anyway, modeling is hard work, superficial, most models look like sh*t without makeup, they eat like sh*t and are malnourished, and develop severe depression and BDD since their livelihood is literally depended on their looks. Even the fat "Body Positive (*unless you're conventionally hot and/or in fit shape)" have depression. Trust me; you don't want none of that.

Also, LOTS of women nowadays have an inflated ego and need to be reminded that "the truly beautiful and talented don't need to convince others they're such things." That sometimes includes you, kid.
Go to college, get a degree, and make something of your life, unlike all these trashy OnlyFans girls out here that are also your age. Be more than your "looks" or your gender. Trust me, you'll like yourself a lot more.
Oh, and you should probably tell GAG mods about that stalker of yours.

You are so right
... So you complimented me when said I don't need to be a model hah☺️😉 - +1 y
By the way how do u know she is a Catfish
- +1 y
@Marianna546
A "pretty", Level 1, 18-21 year old girl on GAG who's brand new to this site, posting risqué pictures of herself online to bait simps... She's either a catfish or shilling her OnlyFans. At least you're a level 6.
One day, you'll be grateful those pics were on "How Do I Look?" so that the internet can't find them with a simple search anymore. Young people today have no idea what online privacy is anymore and how precious it is... Even with Cancel Culture being a thing. - +1 y
I mean you can easily take a screenshot. our little Marinna here
- +1 y
Well i am a pretty girl and many guys think i am a catfish but yeah... I hope u find me at least a bit cute because i am not fat so not your type
- +1 y
@Anonmehahaha What do you mean

@mcheetah you are funny :)

Omg, you need a job, you might as well get paid to walk back and forth and look pretty. Have you looked into it at all? Maybe the recruiters will just tell you no. You don't know until you try, so I would suggest to you to just call up some agencies on the phone, or email them, or go to a website and see if they have a place where you can submit your photos.
I would say, that even if you don't want to do is as like a job job, you might still benefit from the prestige. If you manage to collect just one paycheck from this silly idea of yours, you'll be able for the rest of your life say, "I used to be a professional model." All the other bitches will be so jelly.

why is it a silly idea?

I am not silly you dont know me..

+1 yI can’t comment on being a model since that is not my line, but having good looks can benefit you in other professions such as law or business management or even health care, I think good looking people have a higher chance of passing their medical school interviews, lawyers with good looks get paid more and win bigger cases, good looking people have an easier time getting management positions, and do not have to have a school background in a high density STEM to get chosen for the job. I have heard of good looking women working as publicists for hospitals or employee managers at businesses and all they do is interview people, yell at lazy workers and give directions to people.

Hhehhe :) Do you think my appearance fits the model face? Like Adriana Lima or Taylor Hill?
- +1 y
I think you look good, your video manners are excellent and I do not consider Adriana Lima to be that attractive but Taylor hill is nice looking, I’m not saying Adriana Lima is bad looking, but as a Chinese person, I prefer more common faces.

Thank youuu!! :)
I can relate to how you feel about being on GAG. Prior to my current account, I had three others (or was it four? - I seem to have lost count), all of which I closed down for one reason or another. There are a LOT of dreadful, nasty hypocrites on this site, and whenever I tire of playing with them I just block (my count is now over 50). I see no reason why I should have to tolerate their rotten behaviour.

+1 yYeah it's a very shady and toxic environment... It'd be hard to set your boundaries... and who knows what your " mentors " will ask you... kinda like show biz... Plus it's very competitive and high maintenance... And seriously why does G@g keep removing your questions? I see spam, trolling, offensive, politically offensive, hate towards certain group of people, over the top sexual posts... And the mods cut them some slacks.. Why are they so strict and mean with you? But then again.. Everyone knows the mods here are no good lol

I mean i am the only girl on this site who gets my questions deleted questions changed from fashion and beauty to how do i look just so that they get deletred...
- +1 y
Really? what's up with that? that's a little sleazy... It seems like you live in their head rent free lol
- +1 y
And MCheetah saidto Whattheheckkk to delete my question about model from fashion and beauty and take it to the how i look... why? because for HIM i dont look womanly enough lmaooooooooo
- +1 y
Womanly enough? You mean mature?
- +1 y
Well he said my body doesn't look like an adult woman's body but like a child
- +1 y
Hmmm.. What? 😂... well, you don't look like a child lol and you're 18.. And if I remember, the pics were clean, right? Maybe they had good intentions.. Maybe It's like a " conservative " move for own safety... but given the history with deleting your " normal " stuff before.. It'll still be annoying
- +1 y
*your own safety
- +1 y
MCheetah knows damn well i am outta his league. He likes fat women because he himself isn't HOT you know... And i dont take him seriously
- +1 y
But think about it... You might find this site safe... But you never know where your pics can end on the internet.. You don't want that question up for too long because who knows... Better stay safe
- +1 y
Yeah but like the other girl posted a bikini photo with her chest and no one said to delete it?
- +1 y
Fair point... Even if the outcome is good... They seem to be antagonizing you for some reason.. like I said it'll still be annoying
- +1 y
Seriously, why do people here like to give you a hard time in one way or another? ... You're literally nicer than almost everyone here... Anyway... Always keep your head up
- +1 y
I know that i am very nice and a very beautiful girl but heyyy everyone has haters...

True that 🥂

hahhahaa i dont know why though lol

+1 yThere is nothing wrong with modeling. You can't be forced to do anything you don't want to. They may ask you to have some makeup but they can't force you to diet. However, you can't make much money unless you move to New York, Paris, London, etc. However, you can let a local modeling agency know that you are willing to accept jobs. That way, occasionally you may get a call and you can decide if you want to accept. They probably won't pay much. They may let you keep the clothes you model.

I looked up modeling near where I live and found following: https://www.kimdawsonagency.com/model-faq/ Note: there are no upfront fees and there shouldn't be. They take a commission when you get an assignment and are paid.
For even more information, I found the following: http://www.newmodels.com/ - +1 y
One final thing. Be sure and read "Should you go to Modeling School?" http://www.newmodels.com/school.html

Thank you
+1 yI'd like to say you would be great at modeling.. Unfortunately there are so many insecure, immature mean people in society today. So many keyboard heros. I bet you don't get the same negative remarks in real life because these losers are in theirs mom's basement and not out in public. . please don't be detoured from following your passion.
21 Reply- +1 y
I agree
+1 yYou do what you want to do with your life and don't allow anyone else to change who you are or what you want to do. It's your life, not theirs. And yes, I would agree that you and your body are beautiful. (From videos I've seen on here). But do something that gives you drive, passion, and happiness. Not something that may change who you want to be.
Good luck12 Reply- +1 y

You're welcome 😊😘
+1 yIf it pays its work, but that doesn’t mean it’s for everyone. If you don’t like it don’t make yourself do it. It sounds like you would be better off building a career during your 20’s than making lots of money up front but struggling after 30.
20 ReplyModeling is a really tough business, and it seems like statistically very few people who sit out to be models actually make any significant amount of money at it. Yeah sure, there's the possibility of you making it big, but it's just not very likely. Personally I would go with a much more reliable, sure career choice.
11 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. It is difficult. I was out at 26 after being in it since 12. NOT full-time but enough to miss school some and crowd up my life. Make some money while you can. It paid for most of my college.-I saved most of it less car to get around...
14 Reply- +1 y
Yeah. I think i am too attractive to be a model anyway...
- +1 y
Well actually it's not about confidence i just really dont see anything that could benefit me from it
You are young and you still have time to decide what you want do. Modeling may not be for you. I will say whatever you job you decide to do, whatever industry you go into will have negative people in it, immature people in it. I said this before to you you can do whatever job you want. Find a job or and industry that you are passionate about, that you enjoy.
10 ReplyOkay, if that’s what you want. It is serious but I honestly wouldn’t advise going into it because it’s so toxic and you’d probably end up hating it; the pay isn’t good unless you’re Naomi Campbell and going to uni and getting a proper degree is likely the best option

+1 yModels retire at 30 mostly because they start to age. And don't let the people here change your way in life. Keep going!
13 Reply- +1 y
My mom looks like she is 20 but she is 38 though..
- +1 y
Yes, I'm saying for general population. Yes it may depend on the agency if they are strict about retirement at 30's or depend on the looks.
- +1 y
Yeah haha
You could just be a social media influencer or icon. Doesn't mean you have to model. I mean this could be your passive income

i can imagine. like i tell my wife. you shouldn't base your self esteem on your profession. your profession should pay for your hobbies and your hobbies are who you are. make the most money in the fashion that is easiest for you and get awesome interests and hobbies. thats who you are. thats why we suffer on this silly planet.

although it could take a while to build a following depending on how well you promote it. some creators get sponsored by companies to test and/or promote the products in different ways.
