If makeup and surgeries make women unattractive then why are the most followed insta models the NOT NATURAL ones?

Have you seen a woman who hasn't done any surgery and wears no makeup get as many likes or followers as the one who has done surgeries and uses filters?

I am not saying ALL people find not natural women hotter. I am saying most people find them hotter based on those women's popularity on social media.

Instagram has more than 800 million followers. This gives a good picture of what is considered hot to most people. Better than the surveys that ask several 1000s.

Most women that got more than 100k followers wear makeup, use filters and meet SOME OR MOST of beauty standards (big lips, small nose, high cheekbones, smooth skin, white teeth, big eyes, big breast, big butt, wide hips, small waist, long legs).

There is way more to life than how many likes you get on any site.
That has nothing to do with what type of person you are, your personality, are you fun to be with.
All of those are so much more important.
Beauty fades over time, no matter how many surgeries you have had.
What type of person you are stays with you for life.
That is your inner beauty. That is what is important.
You can have a million likes and be the loneliest person on the planet because the real you, who you are.
So if you get a bunch of surgeries which aren't cheap, you get more likes, those aren't based on the real you, so they really don't matter.
Worry less about who lies a picture, get out and find the one special person who loves you for you.
Not a picture on a web site.

I’m not entirely sure i know what you’re talking about. I don’t follow internet models at all. I follow some celebrities who have modeled, but that’s not even the most of what they do if they still do it at all.
That said, there’s a fair bit of research emerging around the psychology of the desperate need for attention common among people who use social media excessively, especially those attempting to make a living that way. I get the sense that either you didn’t know that, or you’re ignoring it. In which case, the preference is less about what followers find more attractive and more about what ELSE might such a desperate person do to attract and maintain followers. Sexually frustrated people will follow a 6 who gets naked over a 9 who just teases. That’s just a fact.

I will get downvotes for saying this, but that's because surgeries don't necessarily make women look worse, unless they're botched or badly done.. If they're well-done by a professional or very experienced surgeon, how are you gonna be able to say that a girl has had a nose job, or blepharoplasty. Most Hollywood celebrities have had some sort of cosmetic treatment or surgery done, yet their fans aren't able to tell. what someone finds attractive to look at isn't the same as what someone wants in a potential partner.

+ many people seem to not know how to tell if something is fake unless its exaggerated Kardashian level stuff so they end up thinking obviously fake features are 'real' and that other women are just ugly by comparison

18-24 years old: 30.1%
25-34 years old: 31.5%
35-44 years old: 16.1%

If you want accurate information, you'd have to survey all of those groups specifically, and then there are the women - what do THEY think is attractive?

You'd also want to survey using before and after surgery pics for more detailed accuracy.

What IS known scientifically, is that humans find certain symmetrical features to be more attractive than not. Based on that info, the closer a person fits those features, the more likely they'll be found attractive by the most people. If women get surgeries to approach those specs, they will be found more attractive

Ever ask yourself what if every person looked EXACTLY the same, male or female? What would attraction be based on then?

Make-up is good but plastics is not. Lots of guys do not notice things like ladies do. I notice and know what you are saying. I can tell whether skin is pulled to tight like Satan wrap, nose 👃 isn’t right etc. it is so bad in Asia that they do surgeries for pink nipples on breasts.

Injections in the lips, facelifts, fake boobs... that stuff is unattractive. First, how can you prove your premise that these posters are mostly fake and also, what types of guys follow instagram slut... I mean models? Because guys who follow those women think they're sexy. These are usually guys who don't get a lot of sex and they don't know what's really sexy and what's not because they haven't seen a lot of women naked. No guy who's satisfied with his sex life is following models on Instagram.
