For any one who has experience out there in the blonde dying department please help?

The hairdresser had 18 reviews and was a 4.8/5 star on google. She said she had 20 years experience and I ended up showing her a couple of pictures of what I wanted done which was like a balayage blonde kind of thing, she used foils to dye my hair blonde. My hair is virgin and hasn’t been dyed in 5 years and all the dye is out—I’ve had it cut multiple times because my hair grows quick.

Came to the end when she was washing the toner out of my hair and she kept scrubbing at the time I hadn’t noticed but the lady she was working with that day was washing another ladies hair and asked her is everything okay in which she replied really quickly “everything’s fine”

Once she was done I headed back to my seat and then I noticed there were two shades of blonde one was golden which was on the front part of the hair and the other was platinum which was all on the inside of my hair.
I of course asked her why it came out like that which then she responded I must have had left over dye from before and that it sticks to my hair even after cutting it out which didn’t make sense because I know for sure all the dye is out and plus some of my hair turned golden wouldn’t it all have turned platinum? but I didn’t say anything.

Then at the end she was like the toner will wash off and the platinum will start to look more golden which confused me cause why has the story changed now.

I just wanted to ask those who have experience in the blonde department whether the platinum will turn to gold after a couple of washes?
