I think that people who would wear a shirt like this, would be missing the point of what "Black lives matter" means. Let's think about why this saying came about in the first place. If you didn't know it, most men who are black have a hard time driving in a car without being profiled. Most black men who are driving have been stopped for minor traffic violations as well as for major ones and have been hurt or worse (killed) because they were thougth to have responded the wrong way. There are many, many instances where these men have been asked to leave their car, to be searched, to be suspicious of anything that might interest an officer. These same things would not "normally" happen to White men. There have been a significant amount of police attacks and shootings of Black men who are innocent, as well as Black women who have been caught and somehow killed for no apparent reason. So it seems as though the thought of someone being innocent until proven guilty does not apply if you are Black, especially if you are male. So the saying Black lives Matter, means that their lives matter TOO, much as white lives (or any other lives) matter.
So no, I would not wear a shirt like that.
None of that's true.
@JamesDiaz11 So you m issed my point--no further discussion is due.
@findacure4wokeness You make no nsense and missed my point which is based on facts. No further discussion due.
You clearly are a lemming repeating shit like a parrot with no ability to make up your own mind.
@findacure4wokeness You clearly are a shit, period.
Sure, when you say something stupid there's no reason for you to defend it...
@HighValue Nope... you are wrong. These are statistics.

@findacure4wokeness Blacks need not to be highly profiled and given the same opportunities that are given white men, providing they have the same knowledge and capabilities. They need to be treated with all due respect as any other man. This goes not only for blacks, but for Asian, Latino, and other ethnicities.
They are more like to open fire on a cop or resist arrest. Also Blacks hunt in packs generally and are many times more likely to act aggressively while crying victim when they come off second best, stereo types like this persist for a reason. 58% of all murders are committed by blacks that are 13% of the population so they are going to represent the majority in prison naturally. Their a good black people but they only have other blacks to blame for their bad reputation.
So, Black Lives Matter is a group who highlights injustices towards black people. It is meant to said in the context that black lives don’t matter, which is what is displayed by police brutality, other black people, the government, etc.
People who don’t understand the meaning of the group read Black Lives Matter read it with an invisible (Only) at the start, instead of an invisible (Too) at the end.
Think of it like this. If I say I like Ketchup, am I saying mustard is a bad condiment?
If I say I like red, am I saying blue is a terrible color?
That’s how people read the title of BLM. And although obviously it’s deeper then condiments and colors, people use that sort of thinking to believe BLM is a Black Supremacy group. That’s why counter protests such as WLM and ALM pop up. They typically don’t oppose the want of equality by Blacks, they just completely misunderstand the goals of the group.
So, being that BLM is a group that there’s no formal membership, anyone can use the name, and any act reflects upon that group. Of course, people remember the negative MUCH more positive, so despite that most protests are peaceful, there is violence on occasion, which validates those who think BLM is a terrorist organization.
Black lives matter as much as any other lives, but not more (or less) than any others. I get what they were doing - exposing a bit of the hypocrisy - but in my opinion outside of a bold political stunt, it's no better than a BLM shirt.
It also needs to be said that BLM shirts are overwhelmingly about the ORGANIZATION, not the abstract concept (which is obvious to everyone). And the organization is pure evil. It has raised several hundred million dollars, but the only thing that has been done with that money was bailing out rioters, which accounts for less than a million dollars.
The organization has otherwise spent NO money to help anyone, black or otherwise. Not one victim of crime, not one hungry kid, not one small business owner who lost everything to the riots, nothing. Instead, they have awarded themselves huge salaries, and purchased a number of properties and goods in the name of the organization, but which they use as personal property. It's nothing but a huge grift. How anyone can support that organization is beyond me.
Everybody need to grow up. All this who's more woke than you act is very high school and creats further division and unnecessary drama. BLM was a complete scam and took advantage of both blacks and whites. If you guys don't know the scam behind BLM Candace owens busted the creator of BLM who preyed on blacks, bought 4 homes with each worth around 9 million , and all in white neighborhoods. Right and ain't done shit for black lives. But I do like Candace owens though

I think it is just another form of manipulation is another form of racism the people think is cute it's actually really really stupid just like with the black lives matter movement it was stupid it came out of our government which our government has put blacks against whites and whites against blacks forever If people could just understand that we are 97% the same exact DNA and if people would understand that we are all identical and the people would understand whether you believe in God or not that our God or whoever created us or even if it was ourselves our bodies are made adapt to any harsh condition on this planet just like we get sentence when we're out in the sun All Summer Long it's because our body adapts to protect us and over millions of years if he comes into your genes of your identity your DNA but we are still all 97% the exact same people and people need to stop putting black and white in the same sentence because it's ignorant it's disgusting it's fake it's chaos it is manipulation from a bunch of followers did somebody told them something when they and they don't have a big enough brain to understand it so they just follow along because people like that that's b*******
I think this is cringe. Since when did we need movements to say that people's lives aren't inherently worthless? Although I do think people who waste their lives doing nothing DON'T matter, that's not exactly the point of this. Prior to 2013, we didn't need an "_____ Lives Matter" campaign for ANYONE and we still don't. They're just wearing this to be provocative. Kanye LOVES that, apparently.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0K_qpGkbPkwI think it was created to scam money,
@DubiousIntentions
So just like Black Lives Matter then?
It's just making money off trolling in real life, selling a cheap shirt to the "what are you going to do about it?" element of far right culture. This is why it's not okay for parents to spank their kids: it teaches them that as long as no one is physically hitting them they must not be doing anything wrong. And so they tend to indulge in lifestyle choices where they can easily imagine people would like to hit them, but yet no one does. Indeed, the fact that no one is hitting them when they imagine they clearly deserve it only makes them feel like they are being ignored, which infuriates them pushing them to do more and more extreme things for attention, and festers a lot of hate for those who they imagine are getting attention.
But no, I dont think white lives are in some sort of exceptional danger, if that's what the question is asking.
Because Kanye is struggling and needs more money. 🙄
What the F are even saying? Its not okay for parents to spank their children because it teaches them be violent and solve their problem with someone else with violence.
"I don't think white lives are in some sort of exceptional danger" same goes for black or brown lives.
This tiny fraction of black or brown people, who are killed by police is not an exceptional danger, they were mostly violent criminal who were a danger to their communities, F'them.
I think it's political or societal "fashion" for making a point - and for these two folks, maybe more so to garner attention for themselves. They both seem to thrive on being the center of attention especially with being controversial. It is a way to keep them relevant - any news - be it bad or good - liked or disliked - especially divisive stuff) gets more eyeballs - get folks talking about them etc.
I am pretty low key with what I wear so this (or anything like it) would not be for me :)
Very funny that the picture shows black people wearing it.
I would have no problem with it, though I would prefer "All Lives Matter". Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that a large portion of the population would call it racist and be disgusted.
Agreed.
No, we don't need more racism to counter the racial feelings propagated by a few emotionally distraught people. as well, what about all the other races. As well, the white/black race thing is over blown and not reality.
It's never been the right message. People who wear stuff like that better invest in stain remomver to get the blood stains out.
I like how that is worn in concert with others.
I'd wear this: Good Behavior Matters, Emotional Health Matters, Trauma Matters... be gentle, Healing Matters.
i don't see a problem with it. And let me point out that the ONLY reason those shirts exist, is because of the large acceptance by dumbass liberal ass kissers who support wearing the Black Lives Matter shirts. If they didn't segregate, separate, and try to divide us in the first place, no White Lives Matter shirts would have been created, because the people who wear THOSE shirts, actually believe that ALL lives matter but have been attacked for being "racist" for saying that.
I don't support elevating ANY race above another but if you're going to allow one race to wear their shirts you have to allow everyone else to wear shirts saying their lives matter as well.
This☝️
I think I only have two shirts that have words on them that don’t support a team or charity. “I support the right to arm bears” and “I cry when fictional characters die.” Pass, on political messages.
The bears one is tech a political message though… eh, kinda a fencer.
I don’t like it at all. Here me out.
The whole point of the BLM movement (even though the movement has its shit with it too) is to bring awareness to police brutality toward black people.
Of course ALL lives matter but ALL lives can’t matter UNTIL Black Lives Matter. Like the whole movement is to bring awareness to black lives.
I love Kanye but he’s doing this as a stunt to get people upset and to get his brand to continue to sell. Kanye isn’t stupid and has played this game before.
that’s just my opinion though
*hear
Here you go being a troll again @bean2k21
What, he's right. And black people aren't the most important people on earth. The world doesn't revolve around y'all. Why should blacks be prioritized and be the center of attention when there are other groups of people that are being treated far worse. I don't think I've ever seen such a selfish race of people. Why don't other groups of people have a movement like this? Black Trans Lives Matter. What about other trans lives?
by the way, I saw your posts after Queen Elizabeth died and I'm convinced you're some kind of black nationalist. Please don't ever talk to me again.
I never said black people are more important than anyone else. You’re missing the point. The whole point is to bring awareness to the situations that went on with police brutality.
Well they are wearing it to make a point and make a political statement for sure. If it’s fashionable is a matter of opinion. I do like the pants and sweater combo that Candace chose and I do usually like her clothes. I’m not very into Kanye’s fashion choices but this one isn’t too bad. Just a basic sweater with a sweater and pants. Can’t really go wrong with that.
I would NEVER wear one of these shirts. They're mocking their own people and joking about a serious issue.
They're attention seekers and they're mentally ill. White supremacists are probably laughing at them.
Black Lives Matter is more about the movement and showing that certain institutions have racism worked into there operations. Sure white people are oppressed and profiled too around the world but it’s all relative and in the US it would seem more like a show of support for institutional racism and excusing murder of people who are not even tried for a crime yet. So even though free speech is allowed in America I wouldn’t wear the white lives matters shirt unless there was a strange and enormous change.
BLM is a smokescreen for communism
You don't know what an institution is.
@JamesDiaz11 BLM conveniently intermingled their semantics of racism being related capitalism in their rhetoric. The (now wealthy) co-founded flat out said she was a neo-Marxist in 2015 interview.
www.google.com/.../
@JamesDiaz11 An established organization or foundation, especially one dedicated to education, public service, or culture.
Example of the institution I was referencing being the police departments of the country.
Do BLM want reform or destroy institutions?
BLM is a scam to put money in the pockets of the movement's creators, not to help anyone else, especially the blacks. What happened to the $90 million it got from donations? What blacks actually were helped by that? None that I know of. The same as Obama.
@Lyrem_ I did call it a movement.
@DubiousIntentions yet you spoke about it as if its an organization
@Lyrem_ The organization part was finding ways to rip off money under the guise of helping blacks and no one noticing.
The history of oppression of black people starts at the US's birth. The spaces given/allowed to black people are and always have been the worst options with rare glimpses of financial mobility. So the best thing black people can do is organize and make spaces for themselves to support each other in the face of constant societal obstacles. The western world is white society and oppression of whites is not a thing, or at worst repression from other whites [the wealthy and powerful]. MLK started to organize the oppressed whites, latino, Asian, and blacks about the powerful elites that run society, who don't want to be known or seen. Let alone targeted by an organized front of middle and lower classes. So emotional propaganda is made to make us figh each other about petty thingst [right vs left, black vs white, country A vs. country B, straight vs gay, men vs women, ... yadda yadda] and keeps the powerful hidden away from view.
It's as stupid as the BLM shirts. Maybe more stupider.
Stop with race crap. There is no end to it and it is a cancer on society that our enemies use to tear us apart.
Nothing really bad, although it’s messed-up. White lives, like any other colour lives, do have each of the 30 human rights and deserve to live. Many would jump to the conclusion that the shirt-wearer reckons White lives matter more than lives of other colours, and would get pissed. I wouldn’t wear that shirt. Besides the slogan, it ain’t really that groovy.
I don't wear any propaganda...
especially not to make money like these two... lol
I believe in the message, but I am too much of a coward to wear the shirt. These days, a white person could get beaten up or lose their job (if they are seen in the shirt on social media).
I wouldn't. What about all the other lives. Just make a "Lives matter" shirt.
If we're going to be excluding others me might as well go all the way and go "I matter"
I mean I think it is amusing but it is undoubtedly a statement shirt and I love it that black people are the ones wearing them. I think it is just an added slap in the face of a white person wore one.
