Do people wear alternatively lives matter T-shirts because they're racist?

It started of with MLM then out came all lives matter. Many critised it as being an attempt to water down the original message. Now we have that white lives matter photo thats spawned too many gag questions. A quick Google search finds numerous versions of lives matter.

But do people wear these because they think it's funny? Or to ridicule the BLM movement? Or do they actually think those groups are being left out?

BLM does not help Black at all. No one helps Black by discovering hating Black to somebody else. Most people don’t like looting, burning, impulsive accusing and judging, ad hominem, etc., but they keep doing that just make people more distrustful to help Black. Go to media and watch them. Youtube, Facebook or Google may hide the results but I bet it’s hard to hide now if you search on other platforms. Furthermore, in reality, there are some Marxist and other political organizations from the left exploit BLM to spread their ideals more than actually helping Black. And Black, please be smart, you can not help yourselves by supporting political organizations like that. I am glad I’m not White so I’m easier to talk straight about this more even being White is nothing wrong.

Hating is common, but there is no such real things cuffing Black today if you see how other races like Asian or Hispanic/Latinos starting having the same position as White, even Indians or people following Muslims (I don’t know how to consider them) start to get trust from every race in America, even White, regardless they have no citizenship or restricting by their heritage religions.

I am Asian living in a bad country. I do see a lot of worse things (I can show you if you want) happen between people having same races than Black complaining every single imaginary racist things to White. I bet there are worse things happen between White and White or Black and Black but people just ignore it and tend to embrace the ideal of racist. Racist can not be happened between same races, if it does, it’s no longer meant to be racist. For good Black understand things, I can be myself, but I feel more comfortable to express myself to other races than Black because there are a bunch of sensitive Black. If we may do something wrong, they just take charge on us with some racist standards with a lot of crazy explanation which people made for even there is nothing about racist at all.

I just let you know that. I am just a little Asian but who know, who have same feelings as mine and you guys just make it worse and worse. So please Black actually loving Black, more than loving your self-pride, help yourselves out, don’t keep silence and tolerate that.

They're mocking BLM (the organization) as well as the concept that anyone needs to point out that any subset of human being's lives inherently matters - because it's obvious to virtually everyone that ALL human lives matter.

The incredible irony is that the BLM organization has aligned itself (in the US) with the same political party that fought to preserve slavery, implemented Jim Crow laws to oppress freed slaves, created and populated the KKK, and who created social assistance programs that were intentionally designed to keep black people poor and dependent on the government. And they've been taught that they're in conflict with the party that was formed to eradicate slavery, fought and died in a civil war to end slavery, opposed Jim Crow laws, exposed the KKK, and who has always seen black people as PEOPLE.

And as far as the BLM organization, it's a complete scam. Aside from bailing out rioters from jail so they could go back to rioting (often destroying black-owned businesses!), BLM has spent NONE of their hundreds of millions of donated dollars to help anyone except THEMSELVES. They've given nothing to the black people who lost businesses, nothing to the people injured by rioters, nothing to help poor black people in any city - nothing. All they've done is bought themselves a bunch of expensive homes and cars, and bought additional properties for the organization, and taken expensive "business trips" to exotic locations and stayed in expensive hotels.

Even more important that the money, BLM has yet to say a single word about the primary cause of unnatural death for black people: black-on-black crime. They've not even made an attempt to advocate for solutions to the biggest problems that face black people - and words are pretty cheap. BLM's leaders prefer to stay far away from cameras and spend the money that's been donated to the organization on themselves.

Fear not, though - BLM is STILL standing by for YOUR donation. How much will you give? Some of their mansions don't have basketball courts yet, and those cost money!

I think it’s a joke. It’s making fun of the the people who made the ‘BLM,’ and perhaps just used it to gain something out of it other than respect.

I certainly think to add to this- the other “matters” are played on those people’s interests.

Ex:

Ginger lives matter: they get “bullied” a lot in schools really- I guess,

or they get to be the end of some jokes because they’re seen as rare, or so?

big foot lives matter: certainly a lot of Sasquatch “believers” get painted as crazy in certain flicks. It’s comedic and perhaps the real ones feel bullied? Perhaps the believers want everyone to take their (big foot) possible existence seriously, and be welcoming to them? (I’m trying not to laugh.. 😬😬😬🤭)

Native lives matter? I don't know about this one.. maybe the creators actually made this one as an opportunity, to defend these lives that were mistreated back in the day, and wanted to jump aboard the “lives matter train.” Same as the “Asian lives matter” or “stop Asian hate.” I doubt the natives would see it as a joke- maybe some who are cynical about respecting certain people, will laugh at this and their own disbelief in it.

It’s either certainly comedic or others trying to gain justice. Only two logical directions.

If that would be the indication of whether someone was racist? Then I suppose the original shirt was racist? People need to stop being so delicate and work harder at bettering themselves. Stop focusing on what everyone has done to you. Just make your life better, one day at a time. Stop blaming your faults on racism, gender, parents, politics and society. Get off your ass and get to work. Wear the stupid t shirts if you want. I could care less. The original statement on the shirts were the most ignorant sounding, fake campaign used to bring in money for a cause that helped no one in need. Change starts within. That should be on a damn shirt. Do something different than telling others what they should do for you.

I believe in two contradictory things at once: "Everyone's lives matter" in the legal sense and this has always been the case (in modern history). And "No one's lives matter," on a personal level, as humans are a garbage species anyway, and I'm just waiting for the aliens to get fed up with our sh*t and finally mercy-kill us all.

But black lives, certainly do no matter more than anyone else's, ESPECIALLY to the scam group of "Black Lives Matter." And good god, you have to be pants-on-head special needs in order to still support BLM after all the crap from the Summer of 2020 and all of their scams and theft of money have been exposed.

Like, I can't imagine being THAT stupid, to have a bigoted scam group exposed out in the open, and still try to call people "racists" if they don't support such scam groups. I knew they were a scam back in 2013 (cause who tries to profit off of racism?), but by 2020, it should've been obvious to people by them elevating a career criminal to martyr status. Generally, yeah. They are trying to say black lives do not matter. There might be some rare few that genuinely believe these alternate lives are disproportionately targeted by police, but in almost all cases they don't believe that for a second and are just trying to thumb their nose at the black lives matter movement for various reasons.

And I suppose you could go through that long list of varied reasons and separate the racist from the not-racist, and everything in the grey area in between, but really they all have the same reason. And that reason is simply because they want to. The fact that they started out wanting to be snide about BLM and then just waited for right wing media to provide them with a nonracist reason for doing so is what makes them racist.

Though people just need to remember that t-shirts, bumper stickers and hats only have as much power over us as we give them. So if a person is quick to have a negative reaction to such things, you are giving them enough power over you to prompt a reaction. Really the same thing can be applied to any inanimate object or what offends you.

I guess it depends on how the person thinks. If it's someone who doesn't care about black people or someone who doesn't understand why BLM exists, they're mocking it. However, if it's someone who is part of a minority, they might be taking it seriously and trying to raise awareness.

Everyone wears them for a variety of different reasons, you can't just read someone's mind and determine they're racist just from something they're wearing.
