Would you try any of them?
+1 yI can’t say I have a weirdest one for you however, I do have an incredibly annoying one.
So I live in a Hispanic area, and I went to a Hispanic middle school and Hispanic high school, where I was one of the only white people there.
Anyways, I don’t know why, but for a while, Latinas were frequently had their hair in buns. No this wouldn’t be a problem usually because puns don’t have to be ugly however, this fashion trend that was going on in the neighborhood was stupid because nobody was doing the buns correctly and they were doing a whole bunch of different designs with buns and none of them were good. Now if it were just the fact that these were horrendously dumb buns, then it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but no it gets worse. So the people who had these buns We’re also frequently wearing hoodies with the hoods up but because of the buns and their locations, the hoods on the hoodies, wouldn’t even go halfway over their head, and the hood would either stick up on the top of their head or out the side it’s making them look like they have horns that they tried to hide with a hoodie that had a hood that was just way too small. And of course the horns were very poorly hidden.
As a guy who really loves hoodies when I see stuff like that it just bothers me a lot. Also, if they’re gonna wear buns, why don’t they at least learn how to make the buns.01 Reply- +1 y
One time I saw somebody with three buns on their head three of them. None of them were done good and they had a bunch of hair freezing out and not just like a tiny bit. I mean like a whole lot a whole whole lot.

+1 yEverything about makeup on common women is bizarre. If you look up the history of the thing, you’ll learn that makeup began with prostitutes. It didn’t spread to commoners because of the sexual revolution and acceptance of prostitutes either. Prostitution is still widely condemned and even illegal in most places. Capitalism made it popular. Anything for a buck. Same way diamonds, one of the most abundant compounds on the planet and most widely mined through slave labor, are popular and unreasonably expensive. Someone who had something to gain SOLD people on these insanities.

Actually makeup originated in Egypt, and was worn by both upper class men and women
- +1 y
Western culture didn’t develop from Egypt or anywhere in the middle east. Feel free to drop links to evidence to the contrary.
Otherwise admit that you have a political narrative. - +1 y
To understand the origin of makeup, we must travel back in time about 6,000 years. We get our first glimpse of cosmetics in ancient Egypt, where makeup served as a marker of wealth believed to appeal to the gods. The elaborate eyeliner characteristic of Egyptian art appeared on men and women as early as 4000 BCE. Kohl, rouge, white powders to lighten skin tone, and malachite eye shadow (the green colour of which represented the gods Horus and Re) were all in popular use.
If fell out of popularity for a few thousand years in western culture as seen in Ancient Rome and in both the Jewish scriptures and the Christian Old Testament and New Testament.
But in cultures like Byzantine Empire Cosmetics were so popular that its citizens gained an international reputation for vanity. The Renaissance era embraced all forms of physical beauty, which people sought to attain especially through hair dye and skin lighteners (which, containing powdered lead and other harmful products, often proved toxic).
It wasn’t until about the 1920s that highly visible cosmetics, such as red lipstick and dark eyeliner, reentered the mainstream (at least in the Anglo-American world - +1 y
Interestingly enough red lipstick was popularized in modern history as a diss to hitler
Not as weird as those pictures but one you actually see in person is the sparkly nose highlight I hate it because it’s really distracting like why do you want everyone staring at your nose lol sparkle ✨ 👃 ⚡️
Or the classic overdrawn lips 👄 looks gross in person. I had a boss that did this an hour into her shift she always looked like a toddler that got into the chocolate. When she spoke to me she would always ask why I was looking somewhere else (I just didn’t want to stare).

+1 yIts all unattractive to me. I’m au naturale plain jane to the fullest. I dont like makeup, nail polish, etc. I occasionally wear clear lipgloss but even that was long ago. I probably won't even try things like eyeshadow/liner, eyelashes, or eyebrow makeup stuff until its my wedding day. And if i never marry then pretty much never

+1 yFor me, it would be when celebrities are influencing girls to put on 10 different types of moisturizers on face. And I mean layers and layers of moisturizers. That it gives me anxiety cause of the clogged pores. I remember back in the early 2000s. People just needed 3 products. 1. Wash 2. Treat 3. Moisturize
00 Reply 1.7K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I've never seen any of these except (maybe) 100 layers of foundation in public.
The two worst common trends by far are ridiculously long nails and nose/facial piercings. Nothing so common really says attention-desperate trash like those two.
01 Reply- +1 y
You do realize that makeup and facial piercings date all the way back to 6000 BCE right lol for both men an women
All of these genuinely scare me if they’re not already making me nauseous.
I thought it was just hairy nails and I said “yuck!” To myself, but I’d like to look at mini me’s on my fingers for like… a DAY lol and braid their hair if I can. It’d be cuteee
00 Reply650 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. While wavy eyebrows and squiggly lips are right up there in odd ball beauty, it has to hairy nails that is the weirdest and most silly.
I would be captivated to watch a girl eat finger food with hairy nails especially hot chips. The thought of greasy hairy nails swung the decision.00 Reply- 2K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic.
+1 yWell, it's really nails of ANY irrational length, whether or not framed with hair. I'm not saying they are "weird" per se, but they seem to make the biggest intrusion on normal. day-to-day life. I am amazed that some of the tellers at our bank can even hit a key with those talons of theirs.

As per several videos, users smeared period blood all over their faces for its purported skin benefits. According to a user, period blood contains “all the stem cells and all the nutrients that a baby would have needed and of course, that your skin and body needs.” Several others claimed that this ‘DIY skin remedy’ aided in achieving clear and glowing skin.00 Reply401 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Can you even call it "beauty"? For me makeup and and all that fake crap I'd all strange to me. Thankfully I haven't see these weird trends you speak of , except for the foundation part. Hard to choose from these. They are all bad. I'll just say nails, since I've seen weird nails.

+1 yI don't think hairy nail is a trend. In the picture the girl painted her face on her nails. So she added hair too, to make it look more realistic and similar since she must be having long hair.

+1 yDefinitely the last one. People do some weird stuff. Probably for attention more then anything. But hey something might look surprisingly good on some people. Not as much on others.
00 ReplyI've seen women who've clearly overdone foundation, but haven't seen any of the others. I see a lot of people during the course of a week, but Lady Gaga hasn't been one of them.

12 Reply- +1 y
Lol I’d feel bad for any celebrity alive within these two standards- just got theirs added-
and now told by some beauty agent they have to remove it within a month or so, just to keep the followers, or something crazy like that 😂😭
That body of hers will be hatingggg her while her fans love her lol - +1 y

All these up top are all very weird to me. All for shock value and like/views not for real use so I would not do any of these
