Why do people look uglier without their glasses?

It's just something I've noticed. People who wear glasses most of the time looks worse without them. For example, say we have a person who's an 8/10 with their glasses on. When they take them off they drop to a 5/10. At least in my opinion.

I am the same way. With my glasses on I'm like a 6/10, but without them I look like a demon from the depths of hell. I turn into a 3/10. Why?

Who says that? If anything, people tell me I look better without my glasses, not with!

Mind you, I no longer care about how others think I look with or without glasses: I don't want contacts, nor am I going to pick out glasses to impress others. I just like being able to see, lol

Well, some do look better without them. But younger people like in their teens and twenties usually look worse without them. I don't know if I'm just imagining things.

It's just that you're used to them wearing glasses so it's a huge change when they take them off.

I don't know, but it is true, whenever i take off my glasses, i feel my look drops few grades

Very rarely do people look better without them. Unless you have a beautiful face then maybe.
