Since ugly and average men aren't allowed to criticize a woman's appearances, does that mean only attractive men can criticize you?

This logic is hilarious to me. a lot of women will say that if you're an ugly or average guy you have no room to say anything about a woman's appearance. So does that mean then that only attractive men can say anything they want about your appearence and it all of a sudden becomes okay? Or is it still not okay even though they have room to talk?

People are fucking dumb and dont understand what's actually being asked here. If a guy is attractive physically does that give him the right to say whatever he wants compared to an ugly and average guy

Well, what if it was the other way around? Would you let a very unattractive woman say anything about your appearance? By that logic, you only care what an attractive woman has to say about your appearance?

How about not caring either way? It doesn’t have to be one or the other. I feel like a man who is critical of a woman’s appearance is either insecure about her or insecure in himself. It’s a feminine trait to have.. but no, if I’m at a bar and a man who I’m not attracted to calls me ugly vs. a man I’m attracted to calls me ugly, I would not be more receptive to a man who I’m attracted to. I simply wouldn’t care.

I wouldn't give a shit to be honest. a lot of women are gassed up by men and other women and think they're hotter than they actually are and so it wouldn't be surprising if an ugly women called me ugly. You can criticize something without being insecure. We all criticize even the people that claim to he holier than thou. a lot just do it subconsciously

Well “a lot of women” wouldn’t think that way if the men around them weren’t so physical and appearance oriented. And yes, you can criticize something without being insecure but I don’t really see people truly confident in themselves downing women.. but I see a lot of men not confident in themselves downing women.. and this pertains to actual dating not seeing a random person and thinking a thought in your head.

Both men and women care about physical appearence a lot and that's fine. That's very normal. But its when people let the compliments they get go to their head. If a person is always criticizing but has valid reasons or brings up good arguments, that doesn't make them insecure. This goes for both genders criticizing eachother

And no, I do not agree with your logic. If I am at a bar as a man and I see a girl who I find unattractive trying to talk to me and instead of ignore her, I go and criticize her in great detail to make her feel bad about herself, I am deeply unhappy with myself. The saying goes, a person who is hyper critical of others is hyper critical of themselves.. and being hyper critical is a major trait of narcissists, which narcissists are insecure.
