Why is it that girls' fashion usually consists of relatively much tighter clothes as compared to guys' fashion?

In terms of evolutionary psychology, men tend to try to show they are bigger than they are and women tend to try to show they are smaller than they are.

Because that is what the opposite sex is attracted to.

That’s the same reason, tight jeans don’t really suit men.

The trend of wearing clothes which are extraordinarily tight around one area and equivalently loose around another area seems quite funny to me.
That just makes girls look funny. As if, they don't know what they want. But at least I am not foolish enough to try to correct/suggest a girl.

It's because women are sexualized. We're seen as sex objects, therefore our bodies are more exposed than men's bodies. Plus, some women like to expose their bodies to get male attention. They can't do that with loose clothes.

Some women like being sexualised and some women don't. The result being, the same clothes for all kind of women but with mixed feelings. Leading to a confused opposite gender population lol.

It’s to accentuate their curves. It is because everyone likes to visualize a beautiful figure wether they call it sexualizing or not makes no difference.

That was the basis of my question. Many times the form-fitting clothes often result in unintended consequences. But women keep wearing these clothes.
Why?

Boys' clothes are useful for not only wearing but keeping things as well. They are full of pockets. They are baggy and are really comfortable as there is room for extreme movement. Things like that.

Most women's clothing has never really been practical in the sense of having pockets, so from that point, no they're not that "useful" at all!

What I would have liked is the amount of designs girls' clothes have. The designs, thr patterns. As it each dress is a unique piece of cloth.

Many boys' clothes are just variants of each other. It is rare for the pattern to change.

So, I guess it equates (?).

Most formfitting attire is built for men to look not the other way around. Well tailored is the fit that matches.

Yes they do seem to be. I think to show off what they have. Plus they are comfortable but loose clothing is nice too like an oversized hoody.

I don't know, I'm not the one making fashion trends though in France the trends is oversized clothes for women and tight one for men so the reverse.

I think it has more to do with the fashion industry. I know finding jeans in the women's section is hard for me cause my legs are on the thicker side
