Do you wear cheap stuff or do you throw it out?

I bought 3-6 discount fake jewellery items on Temu and two broke while I was setting it up and taking it out of the package and then one was designed for little kids and required being strung together in grouped connections to fit around my neck and it looks appropriate for kids but not for professionals. Don’t know whether I should throw it out or reserve it for social events with my cousins, aunts and uncles, since they would accept me if I was wearing a garbage bag over my head for family outings. I’m worried my friends will be embarrassed to sit next to me if I wear trashy $5.00 necklaces to our lunch parties. I wear cheap clothing but it always looks clean and acceptable for serious and light hearted gatherings.

I buy 5€ socks and 8€ t-shirts at my local supermarket, because the quality is good! :-) They actually last at least as long as what I bought at BOSS, for five times that price.

It depends cheap standard clothes are fine but jewellery, fragrance, pens, shoes and smart attire are bought at the best I can afford
