Fashion went downhill after the 60's in my opinion. The worst fashion is after 2010. I thought the 80's was the worst decade ever but it got even worse now. Ripped up jeans, crop tops, yoga pants, shortest shorts ever, athleisure, et cetera. Americans and the UK especially are just slobs now and nobody cares to be presentable.
My favourites are the 20's, 40s, and 50s. You just can't compare. Even the poorest folks were well dressed and had their fancy "Sunday" best to wear when out in public after heading to church/temple.

The 80s were crazy lol. Makeup, hair, and esp outfits. Yeah i wish more people put more effort into their looks back then.
@Wraith_Cemetery The 1980s still had good fashion for business and professional people.
I love the 50's

Super cute and audrey a icon 💅🏼
Yeah just couldn't help not getting her in there :)
Those girls knew how to be classy.
There's a lass in my area who dresses like that. We both stopped eachother in the street one day because I had my 40s suit on. She had a blouse and 50's skirt.

every decade has their own trends but trends always come back and get redesigned to suit the new. Fashion is subjective… so No decade is better than the other
for sure
This is not a subject I pay much attention to. I am 65 and to be honest I wear today basically the same type of clothing I wore 40 years ago. My basic work attire is a business suit. I am now retired. When I was working I expected my people to be like dressed. I expected the men and women who worked for me to dress in a professional manner. When I am off the job my basic casual wear is a pair of Dockers and either something like a Polo shirt or a full long-sleeve shirt. What I don't like is seeing a man's belly falling out of his shirt or his butt crack when he bends over. Further, I don't like looking at a female with 20 pounds of butt in a 10-pound pair of Daisy Dukes. The other day I went into a local business to do some pricing. One of the girls in the business was wearing hip huggers and a halter top. To be honest she looked more like a hooker than an account manager. I asked the manager if they had a special day for a casual dress. He said no the company wanted people to feel comfortable. To answer the question I think the best fashion was after about 1930 and ending in the mid 70s.
When ever the sex revolution happened where people where more open talking about it and dressing sexy. I think it started during one of the wars, they needed the fabric for the war and so the skirts got shorter. That was an enlightment.. not sure if the song. “Let’s get physical” is during the same time.
the 90s was my favorite also. The fashion trends for each gender was clear. Guys didn’t wear skinny jeans or shorts that looks border line the fingertip length rule. Guys wore low rise jeans, super short shorts and skirts.
I always did like seeing low rise jeans
I liked the 90's, I was into surf wear as I windsurfed a lot when I was a teen. I had a really light Mistral Board that would sink when you stood on it. I still have a board and head out after storms go through to play on 3 m (10 ft) swells. My buddies and I would go surfing all afternoon and then stop on one of the islands and have lunch.

Fashionable hehe. Surfing is cool and i like ur hobby. Ur so lucky to grow up in the 90s :)
I think I was lucky to grow up where I did, and with a good bunch of friends that liked to do things.
Growing up by the beach is hella nice. Do u still live in that area?
I live south of that area, still on Georgian Bay, same big lake.
Cool cool. 📝
I can't say it was fashionable, but the 1960s-1970s easy-going comfortable jeans and tops were good; sort of like grunge would be 30 years ago.
Watch "That 70's Show" or this clip from "Dazed and Confused" which is now 30 years old!
I like the way Hollywood actors looked in gone with the wind. Audrey Hepburn is my idea of beauty, anyone around that era would probably be in style. I know she was not in that movie but I’m saying women in her time were beautiful.
I am attracted to flowers the hair hippy style from the 60's/70's and flowing dresses. Long skirts get me going more than short skirts.
Agreed. 😮💨 i love the hair piece on the hippies. So free-spirited. Flowy skirts r so feminine
I keep wearing modern tracksuits paired with modern hoodies like whatever is in style, which luckily they keep making, logos or no logos, I love them all, trackies, sneakers, etc. 🤪 Hoods and t-shirts. I'm a casual guy, so this decade 2020s..
It's like the previous decades never left, mostly 😎
The 1990's, the New Wave cultural period after Disco faded. Good, sophisticated music, good clothes, civilized, orderly people, good race relations.
Considering we are living in a modern society where you can find any fashion you want, pretty sure it would have to be this decade lol. Unless you like your options been more limited for some reason?
Future generations will be better for most things, like saying what was the best decade of films? Welp today you can watch any past film and any recent film therefore this is the best decade.
i agree w u, i love 50s, 60s, 90s, and Y2K fashion
If it weren’t for the hippies and the 60’s you would not have todays fashions. Everything would be long skirts and dresses. No pants or shorts or short skirts either.
2000's it this era the best of the 90s fashion was going and lot of today's fashion was being originated.
The 90s
That's why all the 90s fashion trends are returning in 2023
Worst has to be the 70s
Early 2000s in my opinion
👯♀️ my favorite. I love watching those high school movies back then. I take notes on their clothes
Every decade has its style. Personally, I think fashion trends are all ugly, and I always prefer classic stuff that look good in any decade.
Let's all gather up and disrespect the 2010's
A dress with jeans under, makes me nauseous
I just close my eyes and beg
I for one love my trackpants and hood pairings with ordinary lace up sneakers from discount department store brands, I guess they're called tennis shoes, but anyways. I like to be comfortable, than to feel tight or up-tight, ahahaha 😋
While still being, fashionable, and me, oh it's me alright 👀👀👀👍🏻
60s, late 90s - early 00s, 2020's
Agree with everything til 2020s
I really like the grunge aesthetic.
Same
I like 60s and 70s fashion.
1940's or 1950's.
I mean I like all decades. There's something beautiful in every one.
I love 60s-70s fashion.
Eh. I think every era has fashionable stuff and things that aren’t
Ok 😂
Lol. I think it’s kinda true though.
The 90's
Was pamela anderson known for that decade?
Same same. You know i watched a movie recently, solely, bc the thumbnail had a girl with a cute choker necklace on, plus the movie was made in the 90s 📝
80s was the craziest
The 1940s.
I'd say early 1900's, 50's, and 80's
1960
1840s
1840s so you can party with the Amish
Every Era has pros and cons
20s or 60s
I like 90s
the 80s
Downton abbey era
Elegant era. by the way, why do u go anonymous for an innocent question?
I liked the 90’s
The 50s
The '80s, for sure.
