What? Why would we care about that? You can learn both of those things to a good level in a month. Literally easier skills to gain than changing your mentality.

Oh sure. At 25 I expect her to know these things. But I can drive us around. And teach her. And I can do the cooking when it needs to taste well. As long as she's open to burning our food sometimes too I'll eat it with a forced smile until eventually it starts to taste good. As would most guys.

There's no excuse not knowing how to cook. It's such an easy skill. That goes for both guys and girls.

If you live in a big city with transit then you can get away with not knowing how to drive.

Why worry about knowing how to cook? Learn to drive, and you can get a vehicle and be mobile... Knowing how to cook is NOT an essential skill... My wife was not a 'chef' but could cook, and I NEVER had a thought about "Whats for dinner"
