Women, follow up question for makeup users, do you aim to change your appearance completely?
I've seen some women that got catfishing amounts of makeup
I'm not someone that does rates or whatever but many do so I'm asking from your own experiences how much has makeup changed someone's rating that you've witnessed?

Guys, how much of a change on the rating scale can makeup effect? Women, are you natural faced, or a makeup user?
Excuse quality. I don't think I look bad or that different without makeup I just look TIRED.
Thing is makeup is best at making you look different when the lighting is perfect and you're posed how you look best. Example: I'm posed in good lighting and I'm the one taking the photo so I know my angles and what looks best vs other people taking photos of me in not great lighting. I can look entirely different
Yep you know how when you draw and you retrace over the drawing again to darken the lines and make the drawing more enhanced? That's what makeup does to your face š
Sure. I like wearing makeup (just not foundation). I invest more in skincare, so my skin is pretty good and I rarely ever breakout because of my solid skincare regimen and diet. I fill in my eyebrows, wear eyeliner and lip balm whenever Iām going out. Thatās pretty much it. Instead of lip balm, I wear a liquid lipstick if Iām going out for dinner. If Iām going to a wedding, I style my hair, wear eyeshadow, mascara, concealer, and lipstick.
It can take someone you find unattractive and bring them to a point where you find them very attractive.
You know honestly the more I think about, the less I have a problem with makeup. Both parties win but it does feel wrong to want your girl to wear makeup. It feels horrible actually. Morally I mean.
One understands that is gonna happen though. The subconscious or bodily functions are gonna respond differently. However, if you're very attracted to her with makeup on then you basically have a beautiful girl and an ugly one. One understands that it is really all a play on the nervous system and subconscious mind. The mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and not. As far as your subconscious is concern that girl is beautiful and isn't that what all of us want at the end of the day? It's certainly better than just having an ugly girl only.
I don't know the more I understand the mind the more I realize life is a bunch of bs. Whenever we get mad it is only due to subconscious processes. If we control our thoughts we can literally cause other subconscious processes. You can even program yourself to like abuse. bdsm. My point is we think we are mad or not attracted to that girl but na it's actually because we are focusing on things that cause the subconscious activity that promotes that train of thought. If she puts on makeup now the subconscious activates processes that lead us to believe she is beautiful now. Your conscious mind knows the difference but the subconscious does not. Everything is bs and not what it seems at all. Everything just is, our thinking makes it good or bad. Thinking meaning subconscious activity.
I know a gal whom I have only seen makeup on once and she looked good but I'm so used to her not wearing makeup that it seems normal that she does not have it on. My attraction level for her makes no difference. Although her actions are more lovable and intimate with it on.
I don't think you are missing out on anything, i respect it for keeping your beauty as natural as possible tho, excessive amounts is just no longer looking yourself š
i always wear makeup. got bad skin so i kinda have to...
on a side note i dont think makeup makes a hugee difference generally unless you got professional skills and are applying it in a way to correct your facial flaws. most people dont think about that stuff when they put makeup on besides for the skin. if you got those skills you could probably do magic though
I use make up occasionally but I like makeup to enhance my natural features rather covering up or changing them. I go for dip of eyeliner and some mascara and lip tint but nothing else. Though I do find girls who can do awesome makeup looks amazing, that shit takes a lot of patience and shit ton of talent. I low-key wish I could do it lmao
at best i'd do lipgloss, eyeshadow and mascara but don't really care about it too much, i know it'd help make me look better but it's so much effort and i have sensitive skin so i don't really WANT to try and play around with putting things on my face haha - i'm fine with makeup on others but i personally think there's such a thing of too much of it
I wear makeup a few times a year, for special occasions and work parties (since work parties are usually costume themed!) I only do my eyes though. Just eyeliner and mascara.
I barely wear it due to a mix of laziness, not knowing how to do full faces of makeup, and I donāt need it.
I am a makeup user, but I makeup to enhance what I have, not "fakeup."
Sometimes I only wear lipstick, which I think dresses up a natural face. Other times I do eyeliner and shadow with the lipstick.
I rarely do full face makeup. It would have to be some rare, special occasion, and I can't think of one present or future I'd do it for. Maybe for a glamour shot.
I like this opinion a lot because I actually like the way you use makeup, that's the first time I've heard a woman say that they use makeup to enhance the features they already have, that really stuck out to me, respect šÆš
HOWEVER!!! I put people on cruise ships twice a month, and I've seen loads of women following trends and who DO look like clowns: the excessively lengthy eyelashes that are based on prostitute "cum catcher lashes.." creepy... But they look like bugs.. And ridiculously fake. Odd colors that leap off the face, crazy nails. I do see it all. Enough of it to realize some people don't think their looks through and are hanging with the herd.
Classic, enhancing looks are always best. You can juzz it up if you're going to a loud-ass, heavy metal or funk concert, and wear the same type clothes and shoes. I still lean on fashionable, yet not awful. If you can find an old VOGUE or Mademoiselle magazine, they had high fashion, but gave practical advice and showed ultra high fashion, but few can buy or pull off such fashion. You need the right time, place money or skill. And good taste. All of those things are in short supply..
Just today i dii... okay I'm natural faced because I'm hot. But today i put on my eyeshadow and lipstick. And that's it. Don't know if that counts as a face full of make up. Because I don't need to put on cover ups on my skin, nor is it a necessity. Today I just put it on to look hotter while going to two interviews.

I look different with makeup on so yeah you can change your face quite a bit lol. But I still look like me if that makes senseā¦. Iāve been wearing makeup for a very long time so Iāve learned to work with what flatters my features. So wearing makeup is like an enhanced version of me.
Loooool so I donāt always wear makeup because when I do, I wear a looooot. But the way I do it isnāt so I look like a difference person but much more enhanced, yes š

I used to be a makeup artist during my college days. I'd like to enhance the girls' natural beauty rather than changing it. They love it! But there are occasions like pageants or formal event where they want their makeup to be "vavavoom" so I do what the client wants.
Hahahahaha. Not anymore. It was just a hobby/part time in college. Several girls, i lost count over the years. I still do my family/friends makeup sometimes when they ask me.
1 point if it's professional makeup and fits her the most. Since 97% of women look 3-4, they become 4-5 when wearing good makeup. Add 3 extra points for photoshop/faceapp or filters and they look 6-7. The "hot" women on insta are average Janes without makeup and editing.
Makeup is such a catfish technique if it's used incorrectly, I actually agree with you on that insta part as well, it's why I have my feed with hippie girls and memes, them girls stay natural and I love it, some wear makeup but it's to cover like freckles or maybe some pimples but they don't go all photoshoppy and stuff
I love makeup and I will continue to wear makeup. Iām a ānatural makeupā kind of girl so guys would probably think I donāt wear any even though I do. I use makeup to enhance what I already have.
by the way Iāve seen a few women under this claiming they canāt do makeup properly but theyāre literally wearing a full face in their profile pics. Itās just very natural and low key like the makeup I do but I see that eyeshadow, bronzer, blusher and highlighter. Letās not be a pick me to impress the guys šš
Oh they know. They even be wearing eyeliner in those pics and lipstick. Literally a full face but subtle colours. They just want to be told theyāre naturally pretty by the guys, and not get backlash for something that isnāt bad to begin with. Pick me energy.
Makes sense but I think to a point its kinda healthy for a woman to seek some form of validation from men cause it's what keeps humanity thriving if you really think of it
Nothing wrong with wanting to impress guys. I just find it childish to lie about something for the sake of compliments and not wanting to ābe like the other girlsā. Teenage girl behaviour. Some of these women are too grown to be acting like that
Iām not talking about the girls that consider themselves natural because they wear natural makeup. I do too. I would still say Iām natural because I donāt change much.
Itās the one that pretend they just donāt have any real makeup skills whatsoever or any real interest in it. Itās screaming āIām so different to those girly girls. Iām quirky and just naturally pretty. I donāt need makeup. Compliment meā. When they literally do wear a full face and they clearly have more makeup skills than theyāre letting on.
Youāre kind of missing my point. This wasnāt even a huge deal, I found it funny and a bit pathetic for fully grown women to be acting like teenagers.
Most women wear makeup. Some women donāt wear makeup at all but there arenāt very many of them if Iām honest. Guys arenāt very sharp when it comes to these things. Guys think that colourful makeup is a lot of makeup but a āno makeup makeup lookā often uses the same amount of makeup. Just not in bold, extravagant colours. You guys think we arenāt wearing any makeup when we are. Iām just calling out the women that are obviously fishing for compliments under this question and pretending theyāre better by shitting on women that are being honest. Itās desperate and itās sad. I guess, I really donr see it being too pathetic tho cause it's just makeup, I thought it was just trendy so it's why women sometimes put a lot but I don't know
I do wear makeup everyday but itās subtle i donāt wear full foundation or anything. Just basically sun protection a tiny bit of tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, fill in my brows and tinted lip gloss it just enhances not changes my face.

I only use mascara and eyeliner because my lashes are light. I don't like the idea of hiding my freckles, moles, redness. I want to be true to myself. And I don't have the time and patience to apply makeup everyday.
I'm Asian and I use colored contacts, lighter foundation, powder, nude lip liner and mascara. I look like a Caucasian when I wear makeup. I have an olive skin naturally and brown eyes and I don't think people find me pretty without makeup. I have never dated anyone because of my insecurities. I want to somehow just change my natural appearance so I won't need makeup. I wish I could be naturally beautiful then I wouldn't wear any makeup.
Who said you weren't naturally beautiful, because if it's yourself, it doesn't count, you also can't show it if you got it, if you are covering it with makeup, if I'm not mistaken I think Asians are actually very wanted nowadays, it's trendy and that's because they are the closest to anime women and people weird, it's stupid I know but true, so if anything, turning Caucasian is working against you š
Donāt fall for toxic Asian beauty standards that want to capitalise on your insecurities so that they make money off of you. Olive skin is beautiful. You donāt need to look white to be beautiful.
You are beautiful, you were born beautiful. Donāt let greedy a-holes make you think less of yourself. Try wearing a foundation that matches your complexion take off the cutbacks for a little while. Embrace who you are because youāre beautiful. So many Europeans would kill for your olive skintone and eyes.
Caucasians are always trying to appear more ethnic nowadays. It doesnāt matter anyway. You should embrace what God gave you, I wish I could give you a makeover girly. I would totally do that to make you see how good you can look while embracing your natural features.
Normally it makes attractive girls ugly and makes ugly girls attractive lol. And since a lot of girls are already attractive I would say the results are mostly negative.
I don't wear makeup unless going somewhere special and its only mascara, lip stick and concealer because I don't care that much because I am naturally cute.
I love the natural beauty on women. A little lipstick and subtle eye shadow is fine. If it takes a woman more than 10 minutes to do her face she's wearing way too much makeup
But I think it also has a lot to do with her personality in general. I'm much more attracted to a woman who is very confident and even egotistical, to some extent. If she carries herself as if she thinks every guy should just drop to his knees and beg her to let him kiss her ass, then obviously makeup is more important to me.
Back in my modeling days, i must wear makeup everyday for work. 🙃 But now, i only wear makeup on special occasions. I have very sensitive skin so yeahā¦🤣
It can make a big difference if they have bad skin normally when not covered and do their eyes a certain way. One guy divorced his new wife the next day after seeing her without make up for the first time. Lol
Hill scaling. Putting on enough makeup to cover imperfections while still looking like you is very attractive. Putting on so much that you look like a completely different person? Not attractive.
That's hard to say. Because makeup by definition is a LIE. It's one of the tools women use to lie about who they really are. And we as guys typically fall for it. But there is a line of diminishing returns. If a women's makeup is immaculate from experience I know she's most likely NOT a good person. Because a woman who spends hours baiting a trap rather then just being a good person is very telling about who she really is. Younger guys don't typically get this.
