gotta wear one, and these are the only ways to put it :/

point up, but the tip pokes out (probably illegal)

point down, but my crotch is completely flat (looks like it's empty, or like a woman wearing it)

point to side, but there is a super clear outline of my thing (basically exposed, also uncomfortable)

First isn't an option.
Sideways won't remain during activity unless you like.. tape it with something waterproof anyway. So at best no one notices. At worst people wonder why they could see it at the start but not after and assume you had a hardon.

See how easy it is? Now stop being all weird about it. If all else fails, a lot of men are growers rather than showers. Some men triple in size, others only add a third extra. Whatever you have soft isn't particularly important to anyone but you.
