So I have some family telling me that I really should be shaving my legs instead of just leaving the leg hair be for long before I do end up shaving..
Like my older sister she is trying to tell me all this is wrong and its just straight up gross that I don't shave often and it says I have poor hygiene..
Am I wrong for not shaving often or is she wrong for telling me to shave more often..
It's your choice to do what you want. However, I will tell you that most guys in the western word, at least, will not like the hair.
Let me explain...
Hair growth is related to testosterone. That's why men are generally have more body hair than women. So, when one woman has more body hair than another woman, the woman with less body hair is, in a sense, "less masculine" - less like men, and so that makes her more feminine and thus more attractive.
However, leg hair, armpit hair... we all have that, so it's not __really__ a major issue, but that doesn't negate male instincts.
That said, in some ways, when a girl is hairier, that's a plus! Why? Because the hairier girl has more testosterone and is likely to want sex more.
"Wrong"? No. There's no moral component to shaving. Unless your leg hair eats people or something.
It's wrong for anyone to tell somebody else what to do with their body, even family.
I shave my legs because it's my choice. My sister doesn't shave and that's her choice.
It's YOUR choice. Not your sister's, not any other family member.
YOUR CHOICE.
I hope you leave in the future or something, you don't need that toxicity.
It's fine not to shave. Our body is suppose to have hair. If anything it's weird to shave
