Is it unattractive to have colored contacts?

i was thinking about getting colored contacts but I've been told it takes away from natural beauty..

My eyes are light blue. I bought a year prescription of sapphire blue from Acuve. It wasn't covered, so the cost was over $200.

But every girl I came across while wearing them, the same question was asked. "Is that your real eye color?"

And my answer was usually "yep. I was born in the sea. So that's how my eye color pigmentation came about. Don't hate me"

Her: "Oh no, I like it! It's so rare!"

You want to try a different eye color, be my guest. But it's probably NOT covered by your insurance plan because it's 'not a necessity', which is true.

No, it isn't unattractive and no, they aren't always obvious.

If you want colored contacts, get them.

Natural beauty isn't really important. The girls guys chase and consider "hot" always happen to not have natural beauty.

The concept of natural beauty is only irrelevant on this site and on the internet in general.

In my opinion yes, I do believe the eyes tell a lot of someone and for them to be covered it's not a good idea, I have a friend who uses it non stop and she has that alien look but she likes it and so does her bf...To me its odd

You shouldn't be concerned with what other people will think. Get them if that's what you want for yourself. Some do look good and some others don't look good.

I think wearing colored contact lenses is unnatural and you are not confidetn enough to show your true colors. Always go with natural.
