Older women who puts on makeup?

What are your thoughts on mature ladies who put makeup on?

Recently I came across someone who was just like that. She was at least in her mid-70s to 80s and with the fairly thick makeup on, had also dressed with a certain elegance leading to what I can only describe as 'mature but attractive for her age'. You could tell from the way she looked and acted she had come from a wealthy and/or influential background and wasn't going to allow herself to age terribly like most people would have expected her to.

dont think much of it, like its pretty normal, most senior women wear lipstick and stuff. all the old women i know do. though it doesn't look good on most of them, a lot have let themselves go too far. the only two people i ever knew/know (that i know of) that can pull it off are my great aunt's cousin who is over 90 wears a lot and looks good with it mainly though cos she got a facelift a while back, also used to get fillers (though the surgeries and stuff were really well done, she doesn't look plastic or fake), dyes her hair, pays attention to her weight and stuff, not to mention she was very pretty when she was young and you can still tell. and my great aunt, who died over 90. thought until the very end she was pretty for an old woman. she aged very gracefully, her face skin was suprisingly very tight and compact, and she was all natural, not to mention she used to also be very pretty when she was young and it was still very obvious. she would have also have long hair, pay attention to her weight, her clothes, makeup, and all that, and would also look a decade or two younger than her age. thought even when she got dementia and couldnt take care of herself she still looked cute. prettiest elderly lady i ever saw. most old women look like droopy hags if were being honest, but not her

Honestly man, more power to older ladies who still wanna put in effort with their appearance. I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

Like you said, this lady clearly came from money so she probably has always taken good care of herself. Just cuz she's in her 70s or 80s don't mean she has to totally give up or let herself go, you know? If putting on makeup or dressing nice is what makes her feel confident, I say go for it.

People should be able to present themselves however they want at any age, as long as they feel good. Just cuz society expects grandparents to slop around in sweats don't mean that works for every person.

I can respect she still carries herself with class even later in life. Takes work to look elegant at that stage. Plus I bet all the younger guys still checkin her out keep her feelin herself too!

If she's having fun with it and it ain't hurtin nobody, more power. Gotta respect a woman who refuses to totally give up on her appearance like that. Gets points from me for sure, dude.
