If you are genetically blessed you can make decision to use or abuse what you have been given. You can be grateful about it and use it to be cheerful, optimistic, friendly and kind. Or you can abuse your it to manipulate, exploit and take advantage of people. For example anyone who creates and promotes a OF profile or something related is absolutely doing the latter.

The same is true for people who are not attractive. You can either develop the non-tangible assets you have (personality, humor, intelligence, interpersonal skills, etc.) or you can become bitter and full of resentment/hatred and abuse others to “compensate” for it. You want make others miserable because you are miserable. Misery loves company. Sadly that becomes a vicious cycle for some unattractive people. It’s never truly fulfilling to want others to be in pain just because you are in pain.

Overall I find that unattractive people can go to both extremes on this. Some of the best people I’ve met in my life were not at all conventionally attractive. But also some of the absolute worst people I’ve ever met were both ugly on the outside and inside.

A complementary hair style- or one that disguises things well- is essential. "Perfect" symmetry a. doesn't exist in the reality of people's faces. b. isn't the same as big on big, small on small sizes, etc. And features that work well together would be preferred over "striking" features.

This is my conclusion based on my personal experiences. Individuals with these qualities never use negativity or belittle others. This is likely because they are confident and secure in their own self-worth. Conversely, those who resort to negativity often appear insecure and lacking in self-esteem.

While science suggests that symmetrical faces with golden ratios are considered attractive, I believe that grace adds an extra layer of allure. This "grace" encompasses a calm personality and good clothing choices, exuding confidence and self-assuredness in a way that physical appearance alone cannot.

Best opinion right here. This very true. As a young 20s something year old I was very insecure and had low self esteem. It was very difficult to attract a woman. Fast forward to my late 30s, I’m very comfortable with myself, I know how to set boundaries, enjoy doing things for others when able and have a very high sense of self esteem. I don’t feel I’m physically more or less attractive but, I now have chronic issues keeping women away

@mobiusforniner Thank you. I think it's the experiences we've learned along our path that truly shape us. We might not always know how to talk with the right words, or what kind of people we would like to approach. We can have patterns or ideas, but they won't always work. Some men are quite attractive, but when they started to talk to me with assumption that women are all the same. I've tried and finally understood why. It's about perceptions of types of women they met in their lives before they knew me. Just like learning about ourselves, learning about others is a part of our growth. In short, politeness is the key I suppose.

@nastyb I believe truly attractive people with high self-esteem don't resort to tearing others down to feel superior. I apologize if you've had bad experiences with that in the past, and I can't say I fully understand. On a different note, with today's beauty standards and advanced technology, enhancing looks is easier than ever. Some even resort to exaggerating their natural features with procedures, makeup, and filters. This applies to both men and women, in all ethnicities, including my own Asian background.

@nastyb you are confusing kindness with being a pushover. What la Rosa is saying is that genuine authenticity is attractive- a man who carries himself well and is content with his life is more likely to bestow a positive attitude upon others. Again this comes down to having a positive self image. It does not imply one is a push over. Far from it. A kind person who is a pushover is not attractive. A kind person who has boundaries and knows when to say no, is attractive. It shows he has self awareness and control.

looks aren't representative of ones character. Someone can be ugly and have a terrible personality while an attractive person can be incredibly kind. but one thing that i find common in good looking people is that they tend to be very ARROGANT.

I have had the opportunity to know some really, really, attractive women in life and have found a shocking number of them are filled with insecurities and self doubt while simultaneously being aware they are beautiful. When that’s all you hear from people you start to develop a lot of self doubt about the other qualities you want somebody to see in you.
