I decided to try a new stylist since the others not give what I ask for. He decided to try his same but caught them on a bad day. His barber fcked up his lovely little Wolverine cut by shredding off all of the top. Then thet ruined his adorable little Tin Tin patch by slicking it down into some odd gapped swoop bang. They barely left anything on him for me to grip. And then the lady at my salon had every excuse in the book as to what she could/couldn’t do to my hair despite having told me different at the previous consultation. Plus her prices kept changing until my mom finally snapped on her ass. She ended up giving me the last thing I wanted— braids. I look fresh out of prison. He looks like a prom night reject. I get that its gonna likely be pouring rain on this trip, but I couldn’t sleep with this long heavy braid shit yanking at me all night. I couldn’t lie on my side, tummy, nor back. My neck is so stiff rn lmao. I told my dude that if this interferes with the things we will likely do on this trip, that he can cut this shit out. He was trippin out laughing cause he knows most black women don’t like their hair touched. Fck that. Rapunzel me baby!!! #FeelFreeToList
I have been.. what feels like around the freaking world trying to find a good hairdresser. But yes i did go to several new hairdressers to find the right fit for me but all to my dismay.. they couldn’t do what i wanted
I often dye my hair and if I choose to dye my hair i get it professionally done all the time. I have been with my current hair dresser for 5 years now and i don’t bother looking anywhere else. They’re a Korean hairdresser up in the city centre and they specialise in all the coloured hair you would see on k-pop idols.I love them! It cost me an arm a leg and maybe a left kidney… butttt it’s worth it and my hair looks and feels like a million dollars

Yes, I've had to switch beauticians, dentist, lash and brow techs due to this. Some people just don't listen.
Black women's hair:
A co worker of mine who is black went to many black beauticians who just couldn't get her right. She was losing her hair, it w as drying out, they were cutting it too short. So she went to a Korean man who gave her a keratin treatment, told her that they told her the products she was using were alcohol based and to stop using alcohol based and take collagen and use Jamaican caster oils. She looks good

Yes. Dropped her in a heartbeat after cutting my hair a full 6 inches shorter than I wanted. You'd think that, maybe, it was because my split ends were horrendous so she needed to chop off more, right? No. Her reasoning? She thought it would look cuter on me... I had a pixie cut ONCE in middle school and I regretted it from day fucking 1 and I've never wanted to go anywhere near that short again. Shortest I ever want it is just below my shoulders. This FENA (bitch in Czech) cut my hair up to my neck. I cried. I was beyond angry. I paid her and left. This was about 6 years ago. Stylist I've been going to now for the last 3 years has never let me down
I've been cutting my hair for 13 years now. I've saved a lot of money on haircuts over the years 😂
When I was younger and I got haircuts, the barber/hairstylist never cut my hair the way I envisioned or wanted. And they'd always cut it so short. It pissed me off. So I just said fuck it and started doing it myself. First time I did it, the back was super patchy and I remember my teacher and whole class laughed when I was in high school. But now, I've gotten pretty decent with it. Still not at a barbers level, but I cut my hair the length I want it and people have been saying I look really attractive in my later years. I think a huge factor is my hair now. They always experiment with my locs, I just tell them that I want a style, usually braided back so my hair won't get in my face, and they usually do whatever they want with it.. Which is not much in the end, they can only do so much with cornrows.. Lmao.. And I usually like what they do, especially after I line myself up..
I have never gone to a hair stylist a single time in my life unless my mother counts because she's a retired stylist and is the only person I let cut or style my hair.
To be honest the only time I ever style my hair is when I get it cut because I either have it so short that you can't style it or to long and curly that you also can't style it. Though to be fair when it's long and curly it looks like a perm you get at a saloon so maybe that counts?
I have an aunt who is hair stylish and we had a party in my honor so I wanted to change a little, my hair was very long (30 inches) and I wanted to keep the length but do it in gradient, she literally removed 25inches on half of my hair and 10 on the other half, it was poorly done, it was more as if she wanted to give me a square cut but she was in a hurry and had to stop suddenly, I almost cried that day, I didn't have time to fix it. luckily I didn't have to pay
That's why I started cutting my own hair. Luckily the last 3 times I went, I didn't pay for the haircut. It was totally the opposite of what I wanted so I didn't pay for it. Now I cut it myself and just have my wife check it to make sure I didn't miss any hairs
Yes, my ex stylist did my blonde and retouches for a couple years then one day she messed it up and gave me orange roots… I went back three times and she could never get it back to normal. Ended up doing my hair dark brown again myself and learned to cut it during quarantine.
Yep. Had this some years ago. There is a hairdresser in our town known to do this to customers. Word spread fast and before you know it, the whole town knew about how one specific hairsalon should be avoided due to this person just doing her own thing instead of what the customer wanted. It costed the salon a lot of customers including me. I'm not sure if she quit or got fired, but she for sure went out of business herself as a freelance-hairstylist.
Funny pics. The girl with the long hair looks worried. So what is the don't touch my hair thing? I get off on touching hair.
I always get what I want from my hairstylist cause that is me. A 0.5 mm cut all over.
yes. i went to her for years and years. and she never quite gave me what i asked for. i thought, oh maybe it's just my hair type. but nope. i now do it myself at home and get exactly what i want.
Yeah but it wasn't because of a haircut. I wanted a pair of her panties... I mean pants for art or something... She wouldn't give them to me though. I guess I should have told her they were for science not art.
Sometimes I just stop seeing them after!
The best tones are the ones who encourage you to try things your hair will grow back!
Yeah. I always tell them to cut it all off. And these mfs want to be "cute" and experiment with shit. Haha
Yeah that's why I started cutting and styling my own hair
Yah, when I was a punk rock kid it was hard to get people to do certain cuts. Now I just shave it every day and don't worry about it.
No but I did have someone who wouldn’t give me a shave and someone who didn’t give a clean shave when I asked for one. I don’t go to that place no more.
With my hairline it doesn't really do anything else 🤣🤣🤣
I haven't had someone cut my hair since early 2000s. In 2019 decided to grow it out, so I have long hair. I just trim my own hair.
Can't recall. I've been buzzing my own head for over a decade.
i just cut my own hair sorry i was not much help on your question.
