How presentable do you feel the need to be when going out to run errands?

I'm no supermodel, nor am I a fashionista, but I refuse to let myself be that person who goes out in public looking a total mess.

I need to make sure my outfit looks ok (no PJ/sweat pants, those are reserved for lounging at home), my hair is in place and if I'm wearing makeup, it's because I'm trying to hide the heavy bags under my eyes. 😭

for the last 5 years, i wouldve worn sweatpants and an oversized hoodie. Last year I decided to dressup a bit and things worked in my favor lol. And then when ole boy and I ended, i really started to dress up again and things really really worked in my favor. My dude is even hotter than the last 😝

lol you will love this... where i work its an education charity centre with lots of interactive stuff about space... now we had a home education day the other day... now i considered myself but im not capable of that commitment... these children,, the hair, the freaking hair... when i looked at some of them, it made me feel like the child was unkempt, not looked after. like a wild child.. my daughter had curls so insane i had to buy an afro comb... i was upset and i asked in the office what is the hair thing about... the answer.. they dont want to!!! so this question is like the opposite.. i love the fact my 18yr old girl will dress decently to pop to the shop... i will go in muddy boots, woolly hat if I've been hiking or gardening because i feel its an obvious reason... i moved to my first small town about ten years ago and when i saw women up the town in their pjs and slippers.. well it was a shock!!!

I'm always presentable and look good. Everywhere I go these days I see people looking like absolute slobs. Barely anyone dresses nicely anymore. I don't want to be anything like that.

Button up shirts, nice trousers, hats, suits etc is all I wear. I don't even own any sporty clothes, jeans, sweatpants, or things with brand names all over it.

I will wear pj pants or something super bummy if I’m heading to the tiny store right by my house for something fast. Anywhere other than there I at least put on decent clothes and Probally shower. I don’t like looking scrubby in public.

75% of the time i'm just as presentable as if i was going out for other reasons. so basically that means nice clothes, clean, hair done, makeup. the other 25% is really when i'm just going to the store super quick and can't be bothered to put more effort especially if it's at night or early in the morning. i'll wear just a little bit of makeup that i won't be super meticulous about, my hair will be brushed but not done or anything or i'll even go out with greasy unbrushed hair hidden by a hat if it's the morning and i can't be bothered. will put something that looks good and coordinated kinda but without much thought into it, probably won't lint roll or iron anything. might even go out in partial pjs pjs or lounge clothes too. i'll brush my teeth and freshen up a little though

As long as my hair is combed, the clothes are clean and not too wrinkled, and I don't stink, that's presentable enough for me.

I'm not trying to impress anyone when I go make groceries or do errands around town: I want to get in and out as fast as possible. I've been known to run in the store wearing workout clothes (nothing skimpy; just a baggy tee and some leggings or shorts), or something comfy.

If I "dress up" to go out, it's because I'm feeling cute... which I'll be honest, nowadays that's rare.

I just make sure I look nice. Clean, face lotion, fresh clothes, lip balm, eyebrows plucked, lip hair shaved, etc. Clothes are anything I like and want to wear. Which is usually: cute/kawaii, good vibes/smilecore, or floral.

I'm not sure what presentable means. I'm clean and neat... the rest is a matter of preference. Today I went out in cargo trousers and a tank top with my hair freely going down... was it presentable enough? :D

"Bummy" no, but I rarely use makeup unless there's a special event. So, just for errands/weekends I maintain a simple-but-elegant look. Jeans and blouse, probably flats or a small heel. (No sweats or gymwear outside the gym.)

I like to be comfortable but put together. I'm not going to wear glam makeup but definitely a little bit of concealer and an eyebrow pencil something soft and natural. I also refuse to look like a mess even around strangers.

96% of the time I'm in gear. Today I added a British flag baseball cap as it was windy+helmet head. That's an improvement over just helmet head.

Depends on the type of errand, if it’s just to the hardware store I could care less how I looked but I try to dress nicer at places where there’s more women around like at the grocery store or target. I only dislike when people really dress like bums on flights. Seeing fat ladies in their pj’s with juicy printed on their ass walking through the airport always makes me cringe 😣😂

I put in enough. But I always tie my long hair in a ponytail and I always wear baseball hats. But if I’m wearing a suit, I always wear my long hair in a ponytail and I wear a nice fedora, mostly my gray dress fedora with the ✝️.

It depends. There is a grocery store a mile away from me. If I just need to pick up a couple things then I don't care how I look. Most other places I do the full groom and dress to impress.
