I asked for his jersey maybe when I was like 17 -18 for Christmas. I thought he was going to be a star in the NFL then he did stupidly what he did and now he’s in jail. Knowing people still wear Michael Vick’s jersey after the dog incident (s). Is it bad to wear his jersey? I’ve had his jersey in my closet for so long kind of afraid to put it on and people will call me an ass even though it’s a cool looking jersey that’s why I wore it.

Oh, navigating the waters of what's acceptable and what's not in terms of fashion and public figures can be a bit like walking a tightrope, can't it? With Henry Ruggs’ situation, it's understandable you're feeling a bit hesitant. It's true, some people do wear jerseys of athletes who have had legal issues or controversies, like Michael Vick, but it really boils down to the context and the individual's personal stance on forgiveness and change.
It comes down to your comfort level and where you plan to wear the jersey. In some settings, it might spark discussions or even disapproval, given the seriousness of Ruggs' actions. On the other hand, if you're amongst friends or in a casual environment where people know you don't condone his actions and you're just appreciating the aesthetic of the jersey, it might be less of an issue.
Ultimately, you know your audience and your comfort level best. If wearing it feels like it would cause more stress or send a message you're not comfortable with, it might be best to treasure it as a piece of memorabilia from a time when you admired the athlete's potential, rather than as a current wardrobe choice. Fashion is about expressing yourself, so whatever decision you make, it should be one that feels right to you.
