I have fair skin and blonde hair
1.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Tan skin with blonde hair can be a mismatch.
Pale skin with blonde hair is a natural fit.
I have always found pale skin on women to be super attractive. It looks delicate, tender and fragile; super feminine.
Tanned skin can look leathery. And tanning absolutely does cause skin damage that will show up later in life. Although, there is nothing wrong with a slight golden tan from swimming or being outside.
An advantage of getting a bit of sun is the absorption of vitamin D. But self tanning or spray tan is pointless and doesn't augment your attractiveness.
There was a time when it was a sign of affluence for women to have pale skin. It meant that they spent a lot of time indoors and could afford suitable clothing when they ventured out. It meant that they weren't doing manual labor all day in the sun.
And in many cultures, not just European, pale-skinned women were desired.
But at some point, with the advent of more and more revealing swimwear, it became desirable to get tanned to show that one had the leisure time and resources to sunbathe by a pool or on a beach. That was particularly true of women of European origin who could afford to go to sunny resorts.
So I can understand feeling discomfort in wearing a bikini to the beach and standing out for having alabaster skin that reflects the sun. It's a rarity at the beach for obvious reasons. But, if you think about it, what's wrong with being a gorgeous, immaculate rarity? No man is going to be repelled by that!

Do you think the women in the photos look odd? I certainly don't.
Again, I adore women with natural blonde hair and pale skin. Not that all natural skin tones aren't lovely.
One of my girlfriends had wavy, strawberry-blonde hair and a flawless, naturally glabrous, peaches and cream complexion to match. She was absolutely gorgeous. She often wore a bikini in the summer when we were teens but the exposed parts of her skin never took on more than a very slight, golden hue.
Another girlfriend that I met when I was 36 was 30 years old. She was 5'1", had light blonde hair with a bouncy curly, shoulder-length style. She was German and had flawless, naturally glabrous, alabaster skin. God I adored her. Even her small, light-blonde patch of fluffy pubic hair was enchanting.
My ancestry is northwestern European, mostly Irish. I have light-colored skin but I tan quite easily. But I love girls with typical Irish and northwestern European complexions.
So I encourage you to embrace your natural beauty. Don't listen to people who tell you to follow the herd.

Yes it does, and puts you at higher risk of skin cancer. Just learn to feel comfortable in your own skin and don't pay heed to society's bs standards. They're never going to be happy, if you have pale skin they'll tell you that you should tan, and if you have naturally darker skin they'll tell you to stay out of the sun. There's no winning so just learn to feel confident in yourself.

Oh, you've touched on a really good point! Yes, soaking up too much sun can indeed speed up the aging process of your skin. This happens because the UV rays can lead to more wrinkles, fine lines, and changes in the texture and color of your skin over time. Not to mention, there's the increased risk of skin cancer. With your fair skin and blonde hair, you're more susceptible to the effects of UV rays. But don't fret, there are ways to get that glow without the sun damage. 😊 Look into self-tanners or a bit of bronzer for a sun-kissed look without the risks. And remember, whenever you're out and about, slather on that SPF to protect your beautiful skin! How do you feel about trying a self-tanner?

Your friends sound rather ignorant.

+1 yYes being in the sun unprotected is bad for your skin, not only does it age you it also can cause skin cancer. You don't have to be more tan and you certainly don't have to lay in the sun to get tan. I'm a pale lady myself, I don't mind how pale I am except for on my legs. But I use self tanner to give myself just a light tan when I want it. I don't tan naturally from the sun and I always wear spf 50
10 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes it does. I knew a girl, a real beauty when we were young. Flawless skin. Now, a picture of her shows sun-ravaged skin making her look older than she is.
20 Reply431 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. in my opinion pale skin is beautiful and tanning is way overrated. I have the same view on it like Asian beauty standards, where they like bright/pale skin over tan skin.
I too heard how the sun rays UV's cause the skin to age and wrinkle if exposed unprotected in the open.
If you like your skin the way it is, then enjoy it and rock it.

I would recommend that you continue do as you currently do. Cover up exposed areas when outside and don’t worry about what others say about you having fair complexion

+1 ySimple answer... yes tanning does dry out the skin's ability to retain moisture over time. In addition to dry wrinkled skin as you get older, it can also lead to skin cancer.
10 Reply 649 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes. The Australian sun is fairly fierce and I have seen older women - who suntanned a lot when they were younger - look about 20 years older than what they are
Do the spray booth.10 ReplyIt does age ur skin faster and can cause skin cancer. A few minutes every day (15 min or so) is good and allows ur skin to absorb and make vitamin D. so a little is ok but more is not better unless u have sunscreen on
