1 yMy husband prefers me completely natural. No weave, no makeup, no lashes, no nothing. Just literally Au natural. I however am someone who gets bored easily. I like to change up my look often, especially my hair. I never could really get into makeup. I’ve always been a lipgloss and lashes kind of girl. Getting my brows microbladed was one of my favorite investments. With that being said, I still change up my look here and there. He loves me no matter what state I’m in. However, he never fails to make it known when I am in my au natural state, that is the one he loves me most in.

To add to my answer. I think it depends on the man, and their personal preference. Also, the woman in question. Some woman are naturally beautiful and don’t need makeup. Some woman could use a bit of help. I have also seen naturally beautiful woman, who look better without makeup. I personally believe natural beauty is the best.
1 yWhat guys think of when they hear "makeup":

Obvious, dramatic makeup. What guys mean when they say "no makeup":

This girl is wearing a no-makeup look What "no makeup" actually means:

This lovely girl is certified no makeup! 48 Reply- 1 y
If you were trying to make a point there, then why does the third picture look so much better than the other two?
... I presume they're the same girl since the facial structure is consistent between the images... but she looks overwhelmingly better in the third picture.
You could have at least found someone who looks better with makeup rather than miles worse. - 1 y
@TheRealPepperPotts : I'm familiar with the process. But why would you believe I'd need to do that? Posting pictures of what I personally like wouldn't make any difference to anything here, and probably isn't on-topic either.
@SotiCoto
"If you were trying to make a point there, then why does the third picture look so much better than the other two?
I am glad you think the third girl is pretty. I was in no way denigrating her natural look. I do think a little bit of makeup would enhance her look, and move her out of the"I'm a twelve year old girl" look.
... I presume they're the same girl since the facial structure is consistent between the images... but she looks overwhelmingly better in the third picture."
It isn't the same girl, although I did try to find examples with similar facial structure.
I think your comparison pics of what you think looks pretty vs. not would be helpful here. This site is designed to share opinions, after all. But the way you came off was not overly kind, inquiring or friendly, and I'm not entirely sure why. I'm just clarifying what many women experience with men. Men say "No makeup" but then talk about how women let themselves go and aren't put together. Women experience noticeably more admiration when wearing subtle makeup than going bare-faced, generally, unless they are perfect 10s. My post is not intended as an attack, and if it came off that way, I apologize.- 1 y
@TheRealPepperPotts : I could remark that I'm Autistic, but that would just come across as an excuse... so let's just go with "How I come across is irrelevant. Only the words matter."
And I like the nerdy girl look. Glasses mandatory (thicc lenses are even better). Braids optional but preferred. Freckles and pale skin are awesome. Pale lips too. Goth girls are fine too... as in completely black makeup rather than trying to look natural. Hair colour preference: Ginger > Black > Brown > Blonde. Oh... and optimal BMI is in the 25 to 32 range... i. e. overweight without going hardcore obese.
As far as I'm aware I can't post pictures in replies... but maybe I've just not figured out how yet. I don't have any good pictures anyway. The search engine was being particularly difficult.
... Oh... and before you remark on it, yes I know my ideas of beauty are unconventional. But I handle the subject the same way everyone else does: by rejecting any standards that contradict my own. @SotiCoto Fair enough. Since you are autistic, it makes sense why you came across the way you did. I think how you came across is relevant to our conversation for social reasons, and knowing more about you helps me to be more understanding, rather than irritated. Thanks for disclosing that you are autistic, it helps me a lot to know how to respond appropriately.
I meant that you could post photos in your own opinion. I don't think it's possible to post in a reply, but I haven't tried keystrokes yet.
Everyone has their own taste. Yours is just as valid as anyone else's.

1 yGirls who wear makeup may look more attractive but that doesn't mean they are more attractive. And I think it's unnecessary. Society should get used to looking at your faces without any makeup but you come up with that standards making society spoil their own eyes into seeing makeup every time that when they see girls without any makeup, they would blander by comparison.
Think of it as like food for example. Junk food may taste better but they're not really better. And if you always eat junk food, healthy and natural food will taste so bland and boring.22 Reply- 1 y
I’m just glad someone else has picked this up too! The solution seems very simple. Everyone would just have to be on bored about it or at least those in favor of no make up would have to wear that look confidently so people could SOMEWHAT get used to both. Hopefully.
Some females do like putting effort into their look and makeup can be a mood booster in that way and also feel like an artsy hobby but maybe they should just spend more time on hair or wardrobe for artsy and spend efforts on like skin and hair care so they feel better about themselves overall and such. Just don’t know how they’d grasp the idea, concept, and transition.
But you mentioned very factual things. Agree 100% - 1 y
Nicely said.

Oh, this is a fun topic! It really boils down to personal preference. Some people are drawn to the confidence and creativity makeup can enhance, while others appreciate the natural look and the beauty that comes without it. Makeup can be a form of self-expression, and when someone wears it in a way that makes them feel good, that confidence shines through. After all, attraction is not just about the physical appearance but also about the vibe and confidence a person exudes. Remember, the key is to do what makes you feel the most comfortable and confident in your own skin! Whether you're all about that glam or prefer the barefaced beauty, you're fabulous either way. 😊💄✨

1 yMost guys honestly don't notice if a girl is wearing makeup or not. We just never think about it.
We notice if a girl is wearing too much makeup, but that's pretty much it.
Some girls look better when they wear makeup, and I guess guys notice that they look better, but all we think is, "Samantha looks pretty today." We don't realize makeup is the cause.
33 Reply- 1 y
no , men are not dumb/blind , they know when a girl is wearing mascara bc it's so obvious
@Reem12345reem It's not so much blindness as indifference.
1 yI hate makeup so I pretty much never wear it. Sometimes I will do super light eyeliner and I do wear lip gloss, sometimes tinted, always flavored lol I also take really good care of my skin. Even though I'm married, I get hit on fairly regularly so I guess at least more than a few guys are ok with a girl not wearing makeup.
10 Reply8K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes, but I am under the impression that they prefer the "no-make up", make up look which takes even more amount of effort to get done.
51 Reply4.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Of course, they do. There is a reason models wear make-up for advertising products. That is what people want to see. Men that say otherwise are obviously morons.
50 Reply666 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. As far as the guy, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder…” Makeup isn’t so much the thing. The “look” is the thing. So if a girl looks awful with it on and can’t pull off wearing it, there’s no use putting it on. Too many women cake then stuff on and it doesn’t suit them. Just be yourself. Natural and simple is best.
00 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Even tho they will say no, most men usually do rate women who wear make up as being more attractive.

1 yGenerally no. In fact we tend to find women who wear make up unattractive. Oh sure some guys might like it but most do not. Women spend an excessive amount of money on shit only other women care about and a select few men
32 ReplyAre you saying it's as useless as special rulers designed to measure cock length?
- 1 y
@EstrogenEducatorEmma if that is a thing then more useless. A rule, tape measure, any object of known dimensions works. Heck even a string + a ruler would work.
1 yThey say "I like women without makeup" but they date or have crush on women with makeup so the answer is yes

@Abhishek4444 and love the confidence you have just remember any relationship that’s serious or of value deserves both members involved to be honest communicative at times vulnerable and open and respectful.
You may be a nice guy in terms of assets hygiene display and such but you will not be wanted but every lady on the planet. Everyone has their type and compatibility and that chemistry are both bug factors as well. - 1 y

Them liking women without makeup is different from like looking at women who wear make up. It's pretty much the same as saying "i prefer natural food because they're healthy" but that doesn't mean you you dont like the taste of junk foods better.
- 1 y
@Aiko_E_Lara I eat 300 days vegetarian food which is healthy and 65 days non vegetarian food which is non healthy
- 1 y
I maintained this diet since I was able to read and write
- 1 y
Im speaking for most people. Yes people eat natural food to stay healthy but they can't deny junk foods tastes better.
- 1 y
As I've said in my original comment
"Girls who wear makeup may look more attractive but that doesn't mean they are more attractive. And I think it's unnecessary. @Aiko_E_Lara I told you I don't eat junk food everyday read my comment carefully
- 1 y
And again I'm speaking for most people not you. And that's just an analogy about the main topic. You don't matter here
- 1 y
@Aiko_E_Lara you too don't matter here
- 1 y
And that's exactly why I didn't talk about myself like you did. See the difference?
- 1 y
@Aiko_E_Lara yes the difference is that you speak for others and I only speak about myself as I am alone no friends no girlfriends nothing
- 1 y
And what makes you think yourself is more relevant than the average?
- 1 y
@Aiko_E_Lara loneliness
- 1 y
@Abhishek4444 That's no one's fault. And that's not an excuse to get so irrelevant here.

Anonymous(25-29)1 yYes, on average, women who wear fitting makeup are seen as more attractive by men. As much as women think men prefer women wear no makeup, they only really prefer this on a woman who actually looks good natural.
30 Reply443 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes , its called " make up " for a reason , of course it makes you more attractive as it highlights features , and shows your intent to present yourself correctly to the world , to look your very best.

1 yDepends on the situation. I think it's silly for women to wear make-up at the beach or to a morning workout. I've even seem women at 8 am 5k's in full make up. That screams "high maintenance"
20 Reply It is a personal thing.
In my case, I'm totally crazy about makeup... as long as it doesn't involve sticking fake eyelashes, piercings or fake hair.
10 ReplyCan't speak for anyone else, but I hate being lied to.
Plus I tend to like things that apparently women regard as flaws... e. g. paleness and freckles.
And if there has to be makeup then make it black. The goth look is always welcome.00 Reply
1 yIt highly depends... Massively.
Generally I like a little make up. Things that kind of blend in with their skin and "enhance" their natural look is best in my opinion.

1 yI do think they enhance actually how beautiful they really are as long fo do it good and not overdue it. I do feel guys do get more attracted to girls if they got a nice dress and all doll up but they are still beautiful with no makeup.

1 yShould have made this a "Yes or No" poll, but I prefer women who wear it, as long as it's done tastefully (i. e. not botched or gone overboard).

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yI think they are very few girls who can pull off the no makeup look. They have to have a certain kind of facial features, skin and hair so the natural look looks good. I think the vast majority of girls look better with makeup.
