You don't even need my opinion... You just "answered" my comment with them pictures... women like that are such a turn off... really... like "god forbid" of need to suddenly blow the nose off? What happens, the "mucus" will just "hang" from that ring because the tissue couldn't fully cover the nostrils?, what happens if they are behind a person with long hair, and that person somehow shake their head, and some hair strings get "entagled" in it? And then the long hair person just moves forward?(ouch)... what happens if you have a dog/puppy, and just instinctively jumps at it (while she/he tries to kiss them) and rips it off?(ouch)... and there are many mone "scenarios" that 💩 can happen, and can end up being pretty painful... and that A. I. bollocs,@admin please remove it, is too Intrusive and Annoying.
I’ve had both nostrils pierced for like 8 years and I haven’t experienced anything you just mentioned lol
@JustinTheGreat Does you woman use it to tie you up to the hitching rail?
Where the head goes, the body follows... Rings and chains attached to the head (e. g. nose, ears, etc.) and neck (i. e. necklace) are meant for controlling slaves. Pull on your ear or your nostrils with some force and compare that to pulling on your arm. You'll notice the difference in pain. Choke someone with a chain around their neck and it doesn't feel great. When slaves act up you inflict pain and drag them where you want them to go. If you were a slave trader, maybe you and a couple other would lead caravans of slaves and need to be able to easily control them. That why you see nose rings as something pretty common among African tribes, Indians, and Muslims because slavery was a huge part of their economy. Today people treat them as declarations, but a ring is just one link in a chain...
Regardless of style or traditions in some tribes or whatever else, it looks gross to me. I know a girl I go to the gym with and she’s nice but she grossed me out with her nose ring. Of course I don’t say it. I just try not to talk with her too much to avoid looking at her. She’s not pretty and with that thing she just looks more ugly max I can’t help to know that there’s been buggers in that thing. It’s really so disgusting. And it doesn’t even look nice.
It's more of a fashion thing lol
I had one but I will never get another one because my piercing went through my nose and my mom had to help me pull it out... the pain was excruciating and took a piece of my nose with it once it came out had a big ass hole in my nose😂
Nose rings are a popular form of self-expression and personal style. For many, it's a way to enhance their look and add a unique touch to their appearance. It's also a cultural or traditional practice in various societies, symbolizing different things like beauty, status, or even spirituality. So, it goes beyond just fashion – it's about identity, culture, and personal aesthetics.
Incredible! One of the bots actually gave a brilliant answer
@KostasKouvalis the bots always give good answers tbh lol.
@KostasKouvalis She also wears a nose ring about the size of a tractor tire.

I have mine because it’s cute
@Apple1996, everyone has their own idea of cuteness
@Apple1996 And probably cuter without it.
A lot of people don't realize thar nose rings were originally known as "booger catchers."
The idea was, you would wear the nose ring, and the boogers that formed in your nostrils would automatically graft themselves to the metal ring. Then you could take the nose ring out once a day, or several times a day, put it in a booger-dissolving solution, and your nostrils would be completely booger-free.
Nose rings were sometimes prescribed by doctors to patients who were obsessive nose-pickers, or whose nostrils were so full of boogers that breathing became a problem.
Knowledge is power!
The hell with that! Seeing someone pick their nose is natural, a nose ring isn't. 😂🤣
Obsessive nose-pickers sometimes scrape all the way through the nose skin, resulting in the formation of a third, or sometimes even fourth, nostril.
It's an awful thing to see.
Well then, they shouldn't use a spoon to scrape them out.
Some of them use potato-peelers.
For fuck's sake. I'm almost forty goddamn years old. Nose piercings were already all around and popular back when I was 16 years old. That was almost 25 years ago.
Most of you commenting here are younger than me, but reading the comments, I'm hearing all of the same old 80-something, bitter and stuck-up conservatives who, in the early 2000's, just couldn't deal with someone getting a tattoo, a piercing, or having their hair dyed blue.
Most of these people are now dead of old age.
You don't like it and don't find it cute? Date someone who does not have a nose piercing. End of story.
Quit trying to shove your white-bread tastes in fashion and appearances down everyone's throat as if they were forcing you to get a nose ring. Open your mind a little bit.
@zagor You, not even asking yourself if you even know better than these people, wanting to prevent or underline the 'stupidity' of it (just because they made an aesthetic choice that enables them to look slightly different from the norm) is pretty much what conservatism is all about.
Besides, here's a shocking fact: did you know you can remove piercings pretty easily once it's healed?
I probably shouldn't bother saying anything here because I don't have nose rings.
However, when I am talking face to face with someone who has them, I have to stop my hands from rubbing my nose. It makes me feel very uncomfortable. See, they don't have to look at it but we do. 🤷🏼♀️
I have a nose ring. That is a whole septum. I think it’s sorta trashy but some people like walking around looking like a cow. I’ve seen a parent get really mad at their daughter once and practically yank it off.
Ouchie! That would hurt some. 😯
@daniela1982
This is most definitely something that has baffled me for years.
Although as @Nikki1989 has mentioned, it is something that has been around for 1000's of years... So perhaps it's one of those trends that has never completely died out.
It is one that should.
It can be a phase in life for example i got a belly button because it was sexy & gave me a sense of change like a hair color would. Then i hit my late 20s…my mentality change what i once thought was sexy was kinda tacky. I had a nose stud to give my look a small change then got tired of it so rid of it.
Some people realy love piercings!
Just following another silly trend they have seen...
Personally with nose rings I am always reminded of the great beginning of Full Throttle: :-D
https://www.youtube.com/embed/0SbAD6eXlpEThey are sheep.
They are followers. Monkey see, monkey do.
Up until the early 90's no one in the west did this except a few in the Punk scene. Then a few edgy people did it juat to ahock or be different. A decade or 2 later and everyone does it because they want to follow the "cool" crowd.
Sheep.
I've been thinking of getting a bone in my nose. What do you think?

Sexy, eh?
Lol, you know he breathes through his mouth and also can't smell anything.
Ask Fatima. Girls have bones in their noses too.

There are few trends as universally hideous and classless.
I hate those septum piercings so much, instant turn off when a girl has one. A normal diamond stud or little hoop on the nostril rings are fine though.
@Apple1996 mission accomplished 👍
@Apple1996 Bad breath is a better way than having hula hoops in your nose.
I used to have my nose pierced back in college. It wasn’t a septum piercing. It was a stud in a nostril. I thought it was cute. I haven’t worn it in many years though.
Nose rings have been around for 1000s of years.
i used to wear a fake septum sometimes in 2017. did it cause it was considered cute and trendy at the time especially if you were an alt kid (which i was)
Personal taste and trends.
I don't see the hype but then again l love ear crawlers.
I think to each their own , if it's not harming me, I can't be bothered
I have to admit some are sexy to me. Tats too. But I'm not into that stuff, although my left ear is pierced. In 1985. But I don't wear one for, shit, late 80s.
They wanna make it easy for guys to know which women to stay away from which I greatly appreciate. It's a public service.
Many people choose to wear nose jewelry as a way of expressing their individuality and personal style
Not fond of whole ring in the septum thing, but the little studs in the nostril or the crease is kind of cute.
They want to look like a bull. Skewed aestetics.
y'all are so weird and boring lol. People get piercings because they like it. Period.
I've no Idea why people get nose rings, but I've had to deal with the aftermath more than a few times of them being ripped out in conflicts/fights.
We legit see eye to eye on everything.
I always thought this shit looks horrible.
Allegedly girls that do this to non verbally indicate to other women they’re bi.
I personally hate them. But I know I am not allowed to say anything.
I’m confused as to why this even needed to be asked? No one has to abide by your fashion
Yes, precisely! Every time I see a girl with a nose ring, I think about cows!
You should probably ask the people with the nose rings. Everyone else would be making assumptions.
If it's not for a specific and sacred religious purpose it's to get attention.
I know a girl who has a nose stud. She is incredibly beautiful and it looks very pretty on her. Nose rings that make you look like a sow - not so much.
Don’t have a clue about why people would want a nose ring. Since I was raised on a farm. I know why nose rings are used in animals. For me. Definitely a major turn off in humans!
I have heard that women wear nose rings if they are interested in women sexually. Don't know if that is true or not. But that is the rumor.
@Apple1996 I know women who have nose rings and or their septum pierced who are straight.
@MysteriousDarkness some straight women have them but it's mostly a bisexual thing
@Apple1996 prove it.
What fashionista Amy said but those pictures are what I think when I see them, I never liked seeing septum nose rings on a woman, a nose stud is fine
They can be cute depending on the style of the person.
Thats what they like.. I personally find it weird.
I guess they think they make them look, um, unique.
I hate nose rings they're so ugly and such a turn off.
I never could understand why people would poke holes in themself.
Definitely not into that particular piercing.. however nostril piercings on the other hand 🔥
They just like how it looks. It's a personal style thing.
The pigs are about right. That's what nose rings remind me of.
It’s one of many mysteries I can’t get my head around it either.
they have no sense of fashion. Unaware they look stupid.
Heaven only nose.
Yes, it's a septum pun.
I've always seen those rings on animals bulls, pigs. Now it's usually a lot of wild women.
they like to distract from their natural beauty
well to each their own but in my culture, it is perceived as a sign of beauty
I don't understand at all. They look like cows
I don’t want a nose ring
This is the worst possible piercing.
i think because... they like it...
Nose piercings are for bad man repellent 😊
They are cute
It's a turn off 😔 they do it to fit in
You answered your own question. For fashion.
It’s so weird. I think they’re gross…
People who wear these are trash.
Cuzz it's cute I guess. I dunno.
They want to look hideous,
No idea. Looks ridiculous.
