Do you believe lookism is real?

I know i probably cannot impress everyone with my looks but i just put effort into my looks to try and not look unattractive.
I believe lookism is real.

Lookism is when people will generally tend to treat people they find physically attractive better or when people psychologically associate good looks with good attributes and bad looks with bad attributes.

Lookism is very real, especially within teenagers. However, as you grow older and more refined you will find that the lookism effect begins to fade slowly as we meet different people throughout our lifetime. There is no need to be like others, when you're grown up! Lookism is induced by others, but I do believe there are people who do not fall victim to it.

And also, as real as lookism is, there is also the fact that nobody is actually unattractive. There is always going to be someone attracted to you, I can promise that! Attractiveness comes from the fact that you are confident, so never put yourself down! You're a lot more beautiful than you may assume. <3

Kinda real. But I also saw some people who had amazing personalities and mindset, in which looks didn't matter.

It's real. I've sometimes felt like I was treated better than I deserved for that reason.

Girls are generally treated well for being girls, and when that's not the case (because they're unattractive), it's extremely easy to fix—for example, by just eating less.

There's a reason we love attractive actors/actresses.
