So i went to a Korn concert (3 hour drive, +$100 spent... and they didn't play my f-) And most other ladies were hot af. they had the aura of "I can cook dinner, 5 stars, and I got my shite together) while most men dress... expectedly for a Korn concert. Now, i know most men won't be dressing up like Jojo or whatever, but ladies always be impressing. Even if it's a Korn, Jellyroll, Neyo concert, they come in and slay. Soo do you be dressing to look like the hottest of the crowd?

I think about what I’m going to wear to buy a gallon of milk at 7-11, lmao. I won’t leave my house if I don’t have a deliberate outfit on, no chance😂 Might even just be an athleisure thing if it’s a lazy day, sweatsuit or whatever, but it’ll be nice and it’ll be coordinated, fly sneakers, all that. Vanity is like a Top 3 “thing about me”, lmfao

So for a concert, I definitely plan it out. I have a bunch of band t-shirts, and you have to pick one that’s not the group that’s playing, but kind of an adjacent band. Or you can go ironic, like I have one that’s just Rick Astley randomly riding a bicycle for no apparent reason😂

I actually like shit like that if I’m going to be in a mosh pit. I’m fairly big and I ape the fuck out, and it’s just funny to me to think about myself bodying somebody while wearing a t-shirt that says “Yacht Rock 🛥️ “😂😂😂 “Some dude in a Tears For Fears shirt was just laying people out in there!”, lmfao

A big consideration for me, though, is shoes. If I’m in the pit, I know my feet are getting stepped on. Size 13, it’s inevitable, haha. So I almost always wear this older pair of black Chucks that I don’t mind beating up. The rest of the look has to match with it. I do a lot of 90s grunge style in that situation, shorts, t-shirt, and a flannel around my waist. The flannel doubles as a towel if I get sweaty, haha

Went to see Weezer last month though, and against my better judgement, I wore white Air Force 1’s. Figured it wasn’t a big mosh pit scene…. but we ended up getting one going anyway😝 I said fuck it, since it’s a very easily replaceable shoe. Actually came out way cleaner than I’d think, but probably for a crease or two. Almost Black Friday anyway, annual sneaker re-up coming, haha

Don't know where you live, but the cities I've visited in the USA and Canada, girls, too, look like utter trash no matter what event it is. They have no idea how to dress themselves appropriately for a date or event. Looks like they just woke up out of bed.

I don't think men who attend Korn concerts are going to be famed for their fashion sense...

I try and look reasonable.

But it's hard as a man. Most stuff does not look good. Especially once you get into your 30s and 40s. They have gaudy stupid logos, or usually the clothes are too preppy or kind of 'gay' looking.

Women just have a lot more selection and a wider spectrum of feasible options, because to express one's femininity you're less limited in colours and styles.
