I can’t read minds but I can’t imagine a 2 or 3 year old looking at acne, cellulite or buck teeth on another person and thinking in their mind “That’s ugly.”
I believe they are probably too young to understand social standards of beauty

there's been experiments of babies responding differently to different looks
it's ingrained into the human conscious to favor beauty over ugliness hence why we naturally freak out over spiders and cockroaches as opposed to puppies and kittens
I don't think a 3 year old needs to be taught that Princess Fiona is prettier as a human than as a green-skinned ogre or that Prince Charming made the right choice picking Cinderella over her ugly stepsisters
The truth is that before I was 14, it was difficult for me to differentiate between an attractive adult and an ugly one, however I always felt aversion to various feminine features such as a wide nose, short stature, obese body, among others.
You're right; beauty standards are typically learned and shaped by cultural and societal influences as we grow. Young children often see beauty in a more innate way, appreciating uniqueness without preconceived notions. It's through media, societal norms, and observations that we start associating certain traits with beauty. Encouraging diverse and inclusive views can help foster a broader understanding of beauty. 😄
