No. That's an idea pushed by the makeup/fashion industry into women and then by women onto other women.

Ask yourself this: have you ever even heard a man ask a woman to wear makeup, or complain because she didn't? I'm sure this exists somewhere - probably from extremely image-conscious guys in extremely competitive industries - but that's a very small percentage of men. The vast majority of men aren't asking for that - that's a pressure most women put on themselves, in part because they listen to the media and social media instead of actually talking to men (and then completely rejecting what the men say because it undermines their desire to "solve" largely invented problems by spending money - something women love to do).

Not really no. I think especially being with someone long term you should love them for them. I think someone’s too obsessed with personal appearances will not find the right person. He may find someone superficial that won’t end very well.

Besides. Long term with a woman you’re going to see her bed head. No makeup. Stubble on her legs things like that. Same for women… You’re going to see mens weaknesses. Having emotions such as sadness. Anger. The list goes on.

People make too perfect of a picture of someone in their head. It’s okay to be initially attracted to someone. But get to know and love one another genuinely. If tou get to know them and decide they aren’t for you. Don’t waste your time and especially not theirs.

I find unattractive women unattractive. doesn't matter what they slather on their face. Actually no, that's wrong. An attractive woman can become seriously less attractive, if not outright ugly, if she puts on too much makeup or has some stupid design or overly bright or colorful mess. And I suppose a somewhat unattractive woman could enhance her looks if her makeup is tasteful and well done. So really, to answer your question, it depends. it depends on a lot. How attractive is the actual woman to begin with and how ridiculous is her makeup choice?

Make up does enhance a woman's face if used sparingly and unobviously. I and I suspect most guys won't consciously notice makeup most of the time but we would consciously notice the lack of it

I think it is more that, in the inner reaches of our synapses we expect women to enhance their natural beauty and it is a signal of non-feminity if they don't make any attempt.

Stone age clothing was sufficiently developed sufficiently long ago for there to be an instinctive male reaction of approval or disapproval.

Not at all , if she is naturally beautiful which I prefer on a girl to be honest , I’m not saying make up is bad but some girls’ go to extreme with it and it might make her look beautiful but sadly she isn’t unless she has make up on. If anything, I find them more attractive. I definitely don't prefer women that wear a cake of fake-up to mask their face. I won't deny that some women aren't blessed with natural looks and they might benefit from it. But fake-up takes away from the natural beauty of the majority of women.

Very few women can pull off the no makeup thing and still look attractive to me. I think less than 1% of women. They need to be extremely naturally attractive in order to achieve that. Then they can look good with or without makeup. And I find less than 1% of women extremely attractive.
