I read that 71% of women who wear heels report that the heels are painful, some are just more concerned with the appearance boost than the comfort boost of shoes. But there are different levels of pain for people who wear heels, and some experience or tolerate more pain than others. Being flat footed or having blood sugar imbalances or vitamin B deficiencies can increase the level of pain you feel while wearing heels. As well as the level of training you have with foot pain. I found when I used to work a standing job, that my pain tolerance increased a lot after several months on the job, I used to get feet pain after 20 minutes of work but by the end of my time there, I did not get feet pain until 4 hours of work.

They're not really good for you to be wearing often. You're shifting body shift in a very unnatural way and maneuvering your legs to tip the balance with an elevated heel with every step! Your leg muscles are complaining quietly and your feet will complain loudly lmao. It's a fashion thing and sometimes unfortunately a uniform mandate in some places which is madness to me.
They do look cool though. Just at the expense of pretty much everything else (in my opinion).30 Reply

It's simple physics. Heels upset what the body expects its physics to be.
Mother Nature made the foot and ankle to be flat on the ground. Heels raise the foot so that only the ball of the foot is on the ground, which upsets the body's natural balance.
Further, the majority of weight on a bare foot, or flat shoe, is spread over the entire foot, while in heels, it's on a very small area at the bottom of the heel, in the back of the foot.
Finally, heels extend the calf muscles, which is not natural.

Heels are tricky because they shift your body's balance forward, putting extra pressure on the balls of your feet. The soles are often narrow, reducing stability and making it easier to wobble. Without ample support, your posture and muscles must work harder to maintain balance, which can make walking feel awkward and strenuous. Practice and choosing the right heel height can help improve your comfort and ease. 😊

They are only hard to walk in at first, bc they put your foot and ankle in different positions and you might not be used to keeping track of where the heel is so it can bump into things or not land firmly, and the way you move the shoe has to be a little different also it is easier to show than to try to explain with words. Basically it is just different so it takes a little time to learn to do it, first at all and second gracefully. It is worth it though, even if you donât expect to wear heels v. often, you prob. will wear them sometimes and in those situations you want to be ready. You are 13 you have time, just try it out and maybe your mom or if you have an older sister or somebody like that, aunt grandmother etc they can help also. I would start with low or medium heels and save the spike heels for later. JMO good luck!

Heels are hard to walk in because they change the way you balance. When you wear heels, your weight shifts forward, and you have to use different muscles to stay steady. Plus, if theyâre high or skinny, it makes your feet wobble more, and your toes take more of the pressure. It takes practice to get used to the extra height and balance, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier! :)

We need good quality heels that are comfortable for YOUR type of feet.
Pick thicker heels and not as MASSIVE... you'd be surprised how you'd be able to run in them girls00 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Assuming you are genuinely 13, I think, for you, it's just "practice makes perfect". However, since you are still growing, perhaps you ought not to wear any heels, even "kitten heels". so that your feet and legs and, in particular, your ankle bones, all grow healthy and properly so you don't have foot problems later in life (and so it will be easier to wear heels when you are done growing).

Or designed by women to ensure they can be caught...

high heels put your feet in an uncomfortable position, far from anatomically optimal :D
10 Reply 2.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. I think that high heels are a joke perpetrated on the female of the species. They are terrible for your feet and they re hard to walk in. Looks like the joke is on them.

Because to walk you need to be able to balance and bend your foot.
Humans legs are not built for digitigrade walking, and if they were they wouldn't need a spoke on the heel to do it.10 Reply - 1 mo
Men are sexually attracted to vulnerability. The fact you're struggling and can't run is a huge turn on for them.

That's quite a drastic explanation. Another one I heard was that all fashion designers are gay and that's their way to express hate against women. :-D

OK that was hilarious. Natural selection. The lion goes for the injured gazelle.
508 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Heels are dumb. Do your feet and ankles a favor and say no. I don't know how many times I saw girls at the bar I worked at get drunk and sprain their ankle, or take them off once they are drunk and walk around barefoot.

I donât wear them much, especially the high ones. It hurts my feel and plus Iâm tall at 5â9â so Iâll look like a giant in heels. Depending n the size of the heel.

There's actually proof that there are some womens feet, who literally can't wear heels. Like, even if they wanted to, their foot isn't built for it. So, if it's hard to walk in them, you might want to make sure your foot is actually built for them

Maybe because when you wear heels, your foot is in an unusual posture, which hurts the whole foot, especially your heel part of the foot.
