Do women who attend the Christian Church still buy Easter Dresses?

Ok. I live in the American South. Here it has always been customary in the Bible Belt to buy an Easter Dress every year. I read an article that said this is not the custom in many other parts of my own country and even other countries. I must admit that it is still a pretty big deal here, but not nearly as big as my mother and grandmother said that it used to be. What do you think? If you celebrate Easter, do you buy new dress? Guys, do your partners if they are female buy a new Easter dress?

Yes, my family still buys new Easter dresses. The church we attend seems to enjoy dressing nicely. I have been to a church or two where yoga pants and hoodies were the norm, so maybe not everyone shares the tradition of wearing a beautiful dress.

Outside the bible belt most people in the US (thankfully) ignore religion unless its a commercialized holiday like Christmas or holloween (because of presents, music, parades, lights, decorations, cosplay, and free candy).
